What a weekend. Thanks for having me and for sharing your brilliance with such an inspiring group @jen_gottlieb and @chriswinfield🙏🏼.

“The fastest way to get whatever result you’re dreaming about is to get inside of rooms where people are already doing it”✨

Flying home so fired up and inspired and ready to go (and ready to hug my babies;)).
This year is gonna be magic✨📈

Brave doesn’t always look loud.

Sometimes it looks like walking into the room.
Starting the conversation.
Sharing your story.
Using your voice.
Cheering for someone else.
Choosing yourself.

At THRIVE, we were surrounded by women doing brave things in big and small ways… showing up, being seen, opening their hearts, and saying yes to more.

Maybe those butterflies you’ve been feeling isn’t fear. Maybe they’re a sign it’s time to fly. 🦋

What’s one brave thing you’re ready to do?

P.S. Thank you @zacbrownband @dollyparton for this beautiful song -and for the reminder that we can all become a butterfly anytime we want 🙏🩷🦋

I used to think I’d have more time for things like this once work settled down.

But there was always another busy week coming, and it was easy to keep asking the people I loved to wait until I had a little more time or energy.

Tasha and I have gotten better at putting time together on the calendar and following through, even when there’s plenty else we could be doing.

Sometimes it’s dinner. Sometimes it’s a walk.

Other times it’s her beating me at mini golf and hearing about it the entire way home 😂

I want more moments like this…

I’ve learned I have to make room for them.

Between work and kids, it’s easy for the only time you get with your wife to be on the couch at the end of the day or your usual table at the restaurant on Friday night.

I like having something else we do together.

Going to the gym with Tasha gives us time to push ourselves, give each other some shit, and do something good for both of us.

And yes, I still want my wife to think I look great 💪.

That doesn’t stop mattering because we’re married.

I want us to be able to do the things we enjoy together for a long time. Taking care of ourselves now is part of that.

And I like that our kids get to see both of us making the effort.

You don’t have to do the same workout. And your wife probably doesn’t need you correcting every rep.

Just ask her if she wants to come with you.

“Your marriage isn’t suffering because of infertility. It’s a spotlight.”

A powerful and deeply personal observation from Tasha Blasi.

When you’re navigating fertility treatment, so much attention is focused on the outcome. The appointments, the decisions, the waiting.

But what happens underneath it all?

In our conversation, Tasha reflects on her own marriage and how years of infertility and IVF brought difficult conversations, patterns and unresolved tensions into focus.

It’s an important reminder that the emotional impact of fertility treatment reaches far beyond the treatment itself and that every couple experiences that pressure differently.

One of the many conversations we had with @tashablasi that goes well beyond IVF.

We spend so much time thinking about what other people think of us, but sometimes the harshest voice is the one in our own head.

The one that tells us we should be further along, doing more, or handling everything better. Things we would never say to a friend can become the way we speak to ourselves every day.

In this conversation, Tasha Blasi joins us to talk about taming that inner “mean girl”. Just because she has plenty to say doesn’t mean we have to believe her.

Full conversation available now via the link in our bio.

Motherhood can be the most rewarding role of your life… and it can also bring you to your knees.

I’m not one of those moms who is going to pretend that every phase is magical or exactly what you hoped it would be.

Every season brings joy, wonder, growing pains… and lessons you never saw coming.

And for me, this season might be one of the hardest.

I’ve always been a fixer. When I see a problem and know how to help, my instinct is to jump in and make it better.

But motherhood is teaching me that sometimes loving them well means doing less.

It means stepping back.
Letting them struggle a little.
Letting them make decisions.
Letting them experience consequences.
And trusting that they are capable of figuring things out.

My role is changing from fixing everything for them to guiding them through it.

Of course, there will always be moments when they truly need us to step in.

#But more often than not, I’m realizing that the confidence they need for the world ahead is built in the moments when we resist the urge to rescue them.

Maybe that’s one of the hardest parts of motherhood…

Realizing we’re no longer here to take care of everything for them.

We’re here to teach them how to take care of themselves. 🙏🩷

Let me know in the comments.. which phase of motherhood are you in and what is the most challenging?

How you show up in your own life teaches your kids how to show up in theirs.

I learned that from my mom.

When I was in high school, she started a landscaping business around something she loved: gardening. It gave her something that was hers.

And without realizing it, she taught me this:

You can love your children deeply without disappearing inside motherhood.

There was a season when I thought being a “good mom” meant giving everyone else everything and leaving nothing for myself.

But that wasn’t devotion.

It was disappearance.

I don’t want my kids to learn that loving others means abandoning themselves.

I want them to see what it looks like to love deeply, have dreams, and stay connected to who you are.

So ask yourself:

What is one thing that is just for you?

Something that makes you feel alive again.

Because choosing yourself sometimes isn’t taking away from your family.

It’s teaching your children not to lose themselves either. 🩷
