We spent the morning checking out Doors Open Waterloo Region: the interactive “Meander” sculpture at Tapestry Hall was a definite highlight (and a good warm-up for Lumen tonight!); we also checked out Ferguson Cottage and the Waterloo Pioneers Memorial Tower. #doorsopenwaterlooregion #tapestryhall

I’m back from Saskatchewan, and have had exciting at-home summer adventures such as:
* planting grass and watching it grow!
* hanging out at a friend’s farm on a beautiful evening and meeting some chickens
* making trips back and forth to camp
* amateur furniture assembly
* checking out local wildlife

Yesterday afternoon we visited the Black Fox farm and distillery, just up the road from my in-laws’ farm. The tour was fascinating, the farm was beautiful, and the free drink was quite enjoyable! @blackfox_farm #samuelrobertkc #rachelkatiekc

As a belated birthday experience for @tashajk72 we visited Niagara-on-the-Lake today for the “In Bloom” festival.
We encountered some amazing floral creations, wandered around a charming garden (with snacks and drinks, too!), and enjoyed a walk around town… all in all, an afternoon tailor-made for Natasha’s enjoyment! #samuelrobertkc #rachelkatiekc #notl
