I’m so very privileged to say that my time in Arendelle has brought me so much light and joy! Frozen is a story that is universally beloved, and it has been an honor getting to bring Elsa to life in the same place that I began my upstate career. Both the rehearsal room and performances of this show were filled with smiles in a way that continues to prove to me that I am exactly where I’m meant to be. People felt love. They felt magic. I saw beautiful little eyes light up with the spark of a new passion. You never forget the show that made you fall in love with theatre, and it means so much to me to be that memory for future artists. I will also treasure the opportunity to work with so many talented young performers in the cast; I remember when I was them, and being the girl that I once would’ve looked up to has been such a special thing! I know that I’m a person who exists very fully in myself, and that’s something I’m incredibly proud of, but I wasn’t always that girl. When I was little I could be quite shy and anxious. I didn’t always stand out in groups. I wasn’t always certain of myself, and stepping into the story of Elsa reminded me of her. Elsa’s journey is one of exceptional growth and self acceptance that every child, and many adults, yearn to emulate. My favorite moment in the show was in the finale as I stood across from the darling actress playing my younger self singing about casting out dark and fear to fill the world with light and love. That image is the message and heart of Frozen! My dearest Queen Elsa, your decision to let it go and to reject fear is inspiring. Girls can do anything and your example in stepping into your power has such an important and lasting impact! I’m proud to be a part of that impact. I’m proud to have been a part of the magic. You’re honest and take responsibility for your mistakes. You are strong, steadfast, fierce, loving, loyal, brave, caring, and the truest of sisters. Most of all, you’re free!

One week ago, I put away the Daddy Warbucks gear for the third time. What a blast! The cast, crew, and production staff were absolutely phenomenal and I couldn’t ask for a better experience! I love this GCT family so much and I am very excited about directing White Christmas in a couple of months! #anniemusical #daddywarbucks

God, where do I even begin?

I don’t think I ever expected that I would ever be so deeply impacted by a show.

Quasimodo has, truly, been one of the most rewarding experiences of my life. I have learned so much about myself as a performer, and it has put so many things into an entirely different perspective for me, giving me a whole new level of love and passion for what I do.

Every moment of this show has been nothing short of incredible- even when I had no voice for multiple performances- and I could not feel more blessed to have been able to step into such an iconic, beautiful role that challenged me in every facet of my ability. From the physicality, to the vocals, and the acting, I have worked so hard to make sure I gave the best performance I could.

And I couldn’t have done it without every single person involved. Every cast member, every crew member, every production team member- I would not have been able to do this without any of the massive support and love I received from all corners.

I am so grateful to Ryan and Keith for trusting me to bring this role to life, and for giving me all of the tools and resources I needed to do it. I can only hope to have made both of them proud in my work, and it was an absolute honor to work under their guidance.

I’m so grateful to my fellow cast who never failed to make me feel loved and supported throughout the entire process- my friends, old and new, who have been such a genuine joy to perform alongside. Saying goodbye is sad, but I am so glad to have been given the opportunity to bring this show to life with all of you.

And lastly, I’m grateful to me: that I didn’t let myself ever doubt that I could do this. For having the bravery and confidence to go for something I wanted. For pushing through every obstacle and roadblock I encountered along the way. I am so proud of myself and what I did in this role, and I am so grateful for the support system from everyone involved that allowed me to do it.

Saying goodbye to this show hurts, but even as I move on to the next, I know this role will definitely stick with me forever and I will never forget my one day out there.
