Oh, what an incredible experience Hunchback has been! 🎭✨

This show came about at a time when what I needed most was community, joy, and frankly, motivation- theatre naturally fulfills all three of those needs for me being that it’s one of my life’s greatest passions, and this is a show that’s been on my bucket list for ages for it’s heart-wrenching story and gorgeous score.
I have to say I was a bit nervous stepping back onto the GCT stage after about 6 years away, but being welcomed with such kindness and open arms from old friends and so many new ones alike; that truly made this experience that much more special.
When I was first cast I had said that my hope in doing this show was to come out feeling more like myself, and I can say with certainty that this show did just that for me.
Thank you to the cast and crew of Hunchback for trusting me with my role, for your warmth, your talents, and for making this show an unforgettable experience!
I hope to share the stage with all of you again someday 🥹🫶🏻

Rocky Horror Show at Market Theatre- you thrilled me, you chilled me, and man, did you fulfill me 💋

After having a couple cry sessions this week and moping around - I mean 👀- reflecting, I feel like I’m finally ready to express what this show and this cast has meant to me.
Theatre for those involved is a rush. A magnetic pull. An escape. A release. But most importantly, a sanctuary. This sums up exactly what this show has been for me the last few months, and yet it feels like it was over in the blink of an eye, like a fleeting and wonderful dream. Theatre experiences like this are why I want to do this for the rest of my life.

A cast so loving, supportive, creative, hilarious, and talented that I could cry (again) just thinking of how lucky I am to have shared the stage with them. A crew so motivating, efficient, kind, and insightful that I wanted to go above and beyond to make it all worth their while. A community so surprisingly accepting of the weird and fantastical journey that this show was- some of the sweetest things I’ve ever been told by complete strangers who got to witness our performance and either got it, got US, or was just happy to be along for the ride.
I am just so grateful for it all.

To my dear Janet- on a lighter note, thank you for potentially ruining all future Rocky experiences for me 😂
A little less light; thank you for challenging me vocally, physically, and emotionally. Thank you for giving me a chance to embrace a new side of myself that I’ve never explored before. Thank you for making me feel beautiful. Thank you for being a dream come true.
