Wow, the people really do make the place. These last three years have been better than I could’ve ever imagined. I would do it all a million times over if it means I get to have such amazing people in my life. I truly believe the greatest humans run through Lubbock. I will love y’all forever.

Taylor is a 3rd year Occupational Therapy Student at the Texas Tech University Health Sciences Center. She has spent the last 14 weeks with us here at Connect working alongside our team to create meaningful experiences for our members, learn from the staff, and advocate for accessibility in the gym for individuals with disabilities!

As a part of her capstone, she created a Seated Exercise Education Guide for our members to utilize that may need or prefer to sit while working out. This is a great resource, so be sure to check it out!

And THAT’S A WRAP on the didactic portion of OT school! Into the clinic we go!!

2 very difficult, challenging and rewarding years of growth in the profession I’ve grown to love and learn so much about! We blinked and now here we are, 2/3 of the way done with OT school. We are on the final stretch to becoming Doctor’s of Occupational Therapy! 3rd and final year, here we come!!

Up Next: Level 2 Fieldworks in outpatient hands and outpatient pediatrics, both in Beaumont 💚🧩🩵
