POSTS STORIES REELS TAGGED

Inspired By HER Vancouver was hosted during Thanksgiving weekend this year and there was so much to be grateful for. With a full room and high energy throughout, you bet we were all buzzing by the end of it. Our favourite part? Watching all of the attendees and Soul Sisters make connections and be celebrated for who they are.

Thank you to our partners and donors who continue to help bring this vision to life: @glasslakefunding and YVR Foundation.

A massive thank you to our guest speakers, who inspired to us to dream big and to chase after our goals. 🚀

Nawel Izard, our keynote speaker, shared that buying ourselves flowers essentially means taking care of ourselves. A flower can be a small act of self-belief, which can ripple into something bigger, something of IMPACT.

Jaime Leigh (Demetra) Gianopoulos, a multidisciplinary artist, filmmaker and founder of Demeter Films, whose work empowers women and advocates for social and environmental justice led “Owning Your Voice,” a workshop focused on storytelling and how hardship is a natural part of our story and how it doesn’t break us, but shapes us into the individuals we are today.

Selena Woo, Vice President, Private Wealth – Associates at Nicola Wealth, led “Keys to Confidence,” introducing the fundamentals of financial literacy and how healthy money habits build independence. Selena experienced back to back conferences with us in Saskatoon and Vancouver. 🙌🏼

Christina Schell, an Artist Performance Coach, dancer, podcast host and creative entrepreneur, led “Believe In Your Magic,” an empowering workshop celebrating confidence, individuality and the magic within each of us!

A huge shout out to our amazing community of Soul Sisters who helped shape the day and brought it to life with us. We sound like broken records, but we couldn’t do it without you!

The BeaYOUtiful Team, we did it!! 🎉

And thank you to @dannycrodriguez for being present and capturing the footage and magic of this day with us. 🎥

We’re not stopping yet because Calgary, you’re next! The final stop of the Inspired By HER Conference Tour 2026 - see you on November 14th! ✨✨

Some events leave you feeling inspired long after they’re over. ✨

I recently had the pleasure of being invited by my wonderful client Kerri Reed to photograph an incredible event hosted by Taylor Hui, founder of the @beayoutiful_org Foundation, held at the stunning Verity Club in Toronto.

The BeaYOUtiful Foundation is dedicated to empowering young girls through confidence, mentorship and self-love, and it was so inspiring to see the impact of this work firsthand.

One of the most powerful moments was hearing a young woman who had gone through the program share her story. A beautiful reminder of just how much of a difference mentorship, encouragement and believing in someone can make.

There is something so special about being in a room filled with women supporting, uplifting and celebrating other women. 🤍

As a photographer who is passionate about helping women feel confident and empowered, this event really resonated with me.

Thank you, Kerri, for including me, and to Taylor for the incredible work you’re doing to inspire the next generation of young women.

More of this. More women lifting each other up. ✨

I’ve lost count of how many of these conferences I’ve been to, but Inspired By HER was my first experience with BeaYOUtiful and I haven’t left since.

We trotted into Saskatoon for the first time this past weekend and it was amazing. 🤩

We made new friends, we learned new skills, we uplifted each other and danced our hearts out. We made memories to last a lifetime. 💕

With @inspiredbyherconference Vancouver coming up this weekend, I’ve had multiple people ask how we do it. Honestly, sometimes I don’t even know. We’re a small team, but we’re MIGHTY as heck. 💪 At the end of the day, purpose fuels us. And i know for me, being of service has always been the common denominator when I think about all the different roles I’ve held over the years. Being of service and making others smile. Being that person who brings joy, because why not?

So proud of this team and the various communities who keep showing up for the mission. We always say it takes a village because it truly does. And how lucky are we to say we have mini villages in multiple provinces? 💁🏻‍♀️

Thank you to the lovely sponsors, Studio 301, our amazing Guest Speakers, the incredible Soul Sisters, the brave girls who showed up that day, the wonderful BeaYOUtiful/Reg team and of course to @leclair_media for capturing the magic. ✨✨

Thank you, Saskatoon! 💞

This weekend, Inspired By HER made its Saskatoon debut, and we did it with a sold-out event in our very first year in the city. You could feel the empowerment and joy in the room from start to finish. Seeing young people celebrated and seen exactly as they are is what this community is all about, and there were so many incredible moments of connection and friendship thanks to our team of mentors throughout out the day.

We share an overwhelming amount of gratitude to the sponsors and donors who help bring this vision to life: @qehome, @glasslakefunding, @leclair_media, @pepsicanada, @vendasta, and the Malcolm J Jenkins Family Foundation.

A huge thank you to our guest speakers, who inspired our attendees to be their most authentic selves:

Deputy Chief Farica Prince opened the day with a keynote conversation drawing on 25 years of policing, leadership, and community-building, sharing her focus on connection, inclusion, and purpose.

Clara Eaton Ribeiro, a Toronto-based dancer, mentor, and co-owner of VERTEX VIBE, led “Louder Than Fear,” an empowering dance session about standing bold in who you are.

Jenna Mulherin, HR Director at QE Home, led “Reflect, Connect & Set Intentions,” guiding participants through journaling to practice gratitude, celebrate wins, and set intentions for their dreams.

Selena Woo, Vice President, Private Wealth – Associates at Nicola Wealth, led “Keys to Confidence,” introducing the fundamentals of financial literacy and how healthy money habits build independence.

What city should we put next on the map?
Saskatoon, we can’t wait to keep growing our impact in this city and beyond!

One year down, and we’re not stopping now. 🎙️

They say the view is always worth it from the top — and what a year it’s been getting here.

A huge thank you to every incredible guest who has sat down with us, shared their story, their lessons, their wins, and everything in between. You’re what makes Get On Top what it is.

Here’s to the conversations we’ve had, the connections we’ve made, and everything still to come.

Year two — let’s get on top.

✨ Mina and Her Magic Bubble is LIVE!!✨🫧📚

I still cannot believe I get to say this — I published a book. 💛

Mina and Her Magic Bubble is more than just a children’s book. It is an interactive workbook created for children, parents, teachers, caregivers, and our wider community to start important conversations about boundaries, consent, safe spaces, and the power of saying “NO”

It will help little ones understand that their body and personal space belong to them. That saying no is okay. That feeling uncomfortable matters. That they deserve to feel safe, heard, respected, and supported.

Because teaching children about boundaries should not begin after something goes wrong. It should begin early, in ways they can understand, practice, and carry with them as they grow. 🫧

If you had asked me years ago whether I would ever publish a book, I would have never imagined saying yes. Not even in my wildest dreams.

This book is also for dedicated to little girl in me and to every girl out there— who never dared to dream this big, who wanted to give up, who fought battles both around her and inside her own mind, and somehow kept going.

you deserved to know that your voice mattered.
You deserved to know that “no” was a complete sentence.
You deserved to know that you were allowed to protect your own magic bubble.

And so does every child. 💛

Here’s to teaching the next generation that their voice matters, their boundaries matter, and their safe space matters.

Mina and Her Magic Bubble is officially LIVE on @indigo and @amazonca !🫧✨

@taylorlinhui IT IS HERE!! Last year when i spoke to you at @wxnmedia awards - you told me not to stop and to do it for the inner child in me!! So i did it🩷🫶🌸 thank you for that sprinkle of magic dust on me 🩷

@rechie.valdez - this year at CSW70 you told me - break those barriers- so i did and bought Mina to live🩷 and i cannot wait to share it with you🫶

Also thank you to my long lasting talented friend who worked with me to bring this book live @nasrin.designs

Over the past few months, I’ve had the privilege of learning more about and getting involved with the @beayoutiful_org and let me tell you, everytime I attend one of their events either as a volunteer, mentor or attendee I am filled with determination. I encourage everyone to take a few minutes to learn more about this incredible organization, its mission, and how we can all contribute to making our communities stronger and safer places for youth.

It all started at the Better Not Bitter Summit @bnbs_van last year, which connected our organizations and created space for meaningful collaboration. Fast forward, I’m incredibly grateful to have become a Soul Sister at BeautifulYou’s annual Inspired by Her conference in Toronto, while continuing to support the mission across Western Canada.

At the heart of this work is an important message: encouraging young women to be bold, fearless, and proactive — to pursue their goals without waiting for permission or validation. To be confident!

I believe we need more opportunities and spaces where young women can see this modeled, celebrated, and supported. I’m grateful to contribute, even in a small way, to a cause that is creating those spaces.

And what a way to celebrate the collective impact of this community! 💛

Together, we raised over $142K at this year’s annual gala to support free confidence-building and mental wellness programs for female and non-binary youth.

Grateful to be part of the movement and excited for what’s ahead. ✨

We can’t protect the people we love from every hurtful word or difficult person.

But we can help equip them for when it happens.

To trust what they know.
To speak up when something isn’t right.
To ask for help when they need it.

And perhaps most importantly?

We can model it for them. 🤍

I believe this is a conversation we need to start having, ladies.

Send this to another woman who wants to equip and protect the people she loves.
