I met a lot of really cool people this year. I had a lot of really good conversations as well. Thank you to everyone who’s took the time to shoot with me this year! Whether we had a set plan or just winged it, I had a lot of fun experimenting with lighting and edits this year. I truly appreciate each and every one of you. You kept me sane more than you’ll ever understand.

I’m looking forward to 2025 and seeing what other great people I meet and what we come up with!

BLUES. BLUES. BLUES.

Okay so, maybe you don’t wanna go color heavy … and that’s fine! Truthfully; I am a neutral girl to my coreeee but I love to add dimension to my outfits with a small pop of color. To reflect the soft somber setting around me (upstate ny) I decided to create a bit more of a calmer look that’s still elevated, the neutrals create the casual feel & the navy blue adds a pop of color without changing the mood entirely.

The inspo for this outfit started with the nail set ; pro-tip pick a STAPLE to start with and build the outfit around that.

Black excellence isn’t a trend - it’s the past, present, and future.

Buffalo Fashion House made that clear on the Black Carpet, turning fashion into activism. From the Pan-African Superman symbol to militarized patterns disrupted by hand-shaped accessories covering eyes, mouths, and ears - they sent a message. “Fashion is Activism” wasn’t just a phrase on fabric; it was a declaration.

Chic 90s power dressing, minimalist modernity, and futuristic dystopian layers - all telling the world that their art, their fashion, is their weapon of peace.

Black History doesn’t stop in February. Neither does the movement.

Fashion has always been a mode of communication for me. Its always been the outlet and the access in my world, used to express and share who I am. However, I’ve not always had the access I wished I did and so I had to get creative and make do with what I had. What I had was a few dollars from my job in high school and local thrift stores... and out of that sentiment came my love and obsession for thrifting!

There’s something very beautiful and human about the connection that clothing can create and the stories to be shared about the history and intent of the clothes you wear. For me, outfits and fashion are connected to how I might feel and what version of myself I wanna share with the people around me about who I am and how I see myself that day.

Pictured is a vintage Kodak Watch I found at Savers in Webster. Being from Rochester, the home to Kodak- I had to have it. Inspired by the film industry, sharing a love for film photography and how Kodak reminds me of my great grandpa who was obsessed with Polaroids and film, something as small as this watch holds a whole part of how I identify myself, my family, my community and the world around me. All of this only makes living here even more special.
