Wow earning two medals in Mexico in 2023, 2025, and now 2026 has been an incredible journey. My last Youth League as a Cadet could not have ended better 😤.

I’m grateful for everyone who has been part of this journey. First, thank you to my parents for always supporting me, believing in me, and being there every step of the way. Huge thank you to my coach @johnlimcaco for all the work in the dojo. Thank you @tbmendonca for coaching me throughout this tournament and giving me the advice I needed before competing. And lastly, thank you @arawazausa for always supporting me with the best gear and equipment 🥋🦾.

McMinnville’s Logan Mendonca isn’t just one of the best young karate athletes in the United States. He’s also one of the best young karate athletes on this continent as he took home gold at the Junior Pan Am Karate Championships a week and a half ago.

PAN-AMERICAN CHAMPIONSHIPS 2026🇨🇷

Cadet Male Kata 🥈

This was my very first continental championship and I did not disappoint. I went four strong rounds in kata, only losing in the final to a very amazing athlete 3-2. I also competed in kumite, gaining very good experience.

Thank you to all of the coaches and @usakarate for being there for us the whole week and making sure we were all prepared to do our best.

Special thanks to @tbmendonca and @cherylmurphykarate for being in my corner this weekend.

Thank you @tkc_sugarland @austin_karate_center @teamzenchamps @katamastery for all of your support.

Back to work🇲🇽🔜
