Had a great time competing in Guadalajara and happy to come home with a medal 🥈

A big thank you to my Sensei @tbmendonca for always believing in me, helping me prepare, and being there for me throughout the competition. ❤️

And thank you to all the coaches who were there supporting the USA athletes throughout the competition. 🇺🇸

Lots to learn and keep working on. 🥋

🔥🥋 WHAT AN EPIC YOUTH LEAGUE! 🇲🇽🏆
What an incredible week at the Karate 1 Youth League in Guadalajara, Mexico! Our two dojos, Mendonca Academy and IKF Sacramento, brought home a combined 4 GOLD 🥇 | 2 SILVER 🥈 | 1 BRONZE 🥉!
🏆 Mendonca Academy
🥇 2 Gold | 🥈 1 Silver
🏆 IKF Sacramento
🥇 2 Gold | 🥈 1 Silver | 🥉 1 Bronze
I had the privilege of coaching athletes from both dojos throughout the competition, and I couldn’t be prouder of what these kids accomplished!
The hard work, dedication, and countless hours of training continue to pay off. Watching these athletes rise to the challenge and perform on the international stage is what makes this journey so special.
Congratulations to all our athletes on an amazing week! Enjoy the moment, celebrate your accomplishments, and then it’s back to work. We have even bigger goals ahead!
NEXT STOP: WORLD CHAMPIONSHIPS IN POLAND! 🇵🇱🌍
Let’s keep pushing, keep improving, and keep chasing greatness! 💪🥋

Some highlights of Logan and Kenzie at k1yl Guadalajara. The best part is that each sibling films for the other and they are each others biggest fans. Just listen to them scream . Karate life continues. #wkfapproved #wkfkarate #usakarate #k1youthleague by @tbmendonca
