“By the way, we wear shorts here at Burn Boot Camp.”

THAT'S A MAN. 👏🏼

Matt Morris, the man who designs Burn Boot Camp workouts, understood the assignment in about five seconds.

Meanwhile, for the last 24 hours, my comment section has been full of men policing women's bodies, judging our clothes, and explaining why we're the problem for speaking up.

And here's Matt, who actually works in the fitness industry, reminding everybody that women wearing shorts to work out is not a scandal.

We're here to lift weights. Build strength. High-five our friends. Sweat. Laugh. Get stronger. And maybe say a few four-letter words when the workout gets spicy. 😂

To the men in my comments who are still struggling with this concept: maybe follow his lead.

Women don't need your permission to wear shorts. We don't need to meet your beauty standards to use the gym. And we certainly don't need to be insulted for showing up and doing the work.

The gym is for working out. Not auditioning for your approval. 🖤

Tag a woman who has never let somebody else's opinion stop her from showing up. 💪🏼

Some men are busy deciding which women belong in the gym. Meanwhile, some of us are busy making sure every woman knows she already does. 🩷

The internet has made it painfully clear why so many women feel intimidated walking into a gym.

They're afraid of being judged for their bodies, their clothes, their form, or simply being a beginner.

And after the comments on my last Reel? I want to show you a different side of fitness. 🩷

A place where women high-five each other. Where we celebrate showing up. Where we cheer for the woman lifting her heaviest weight AND the woman learning how to do her first squat.

That's what I love about my Burn Boot Camp community.

@devan.kline co-founded Burn Boot Camp with a vision of building a community that empowers women through fitness. And that's the kind of environment I want every woman to experience.

You do not have to arrive confident.
You do not have to arrive strong.
You do not have to arrive skinny.

You just have to walk through the door.

We'll meet you where you are, cheer you on, and high-five you on the way out. 🙌🏼

Because the goal isn't to make women feel like they have to earn their place in the gym.

The goal is to remind them they belonged there all along.

Tag a woman who needs to hear this today. And if you've been nervous to start, consider this your sign. Come find your people. 💙

We were raised to shrink.
We’re raising them to take up space. 💪

We grew up hearing that smaller was better.
Take up less space. Don’t get too muscular. Don’t be “too much.”

So we decided to raise the next generation differently. 🩷💙

Not obsessed with being smaller.
Not afraid of being strong.
Not apologizing for taking up room.

Whether they're our daughters or our sons, we want them to know their bodies are capable of incredible things.

We’re not just working out with our kids.
We’re showing them what it looks like to love yourself loudly. 💪💪🏾

The cycle ends with us.

If you’re raising kids who will NEVER hear “make yourself smaller,” drop a 💪 below.

Reminder: Moms need themed days too. 🌈

We came for the workout. Stayed for the neon. Left with questionable dance moves, sweaty bangs, and exactly zero regrets. 💖✨
Turns out lifting weights in 80s neon burns calories and heals your inner mall-rat who dreamed of being in a Madonna music video.
Who says getting stronger can't come with a side of hairspray and bubble gum? 💪🎀

Hi! My name is Kinsley, and I am 10 years old. My friends and teammates call me Kins. This is my 3rd full season with Designer Athletics and my first season on a Level 4 team. I am a flyer and am excited to learn new skills, grow as an athlete, and take on new challenges this season.

Some of my favorite cheer memories include winning Regional Summit with Fashionistas and winning Cheersport and attending big summit in Orlando with Fend1. Those experiences helped grow my love for cheer and motivated me to keep working hard.

I can’t wait to make new memories, build strong friendships, and have an amazing season with my Vers4ce family!

✨ Meet Raelynn ✨

Raelynn is 11 years old and entering her third full season with Designer Athletics! ❤️🖤💛 This season is especially exciting because it’s her first year on a Level 2 team.

Currently a side base, Raelynn is looking forward to learning how to main base and continuing to grow as an athlete. Some of her favorite cheer memories include winning Regional Summit with Fashionistas and capturing both Cheersport and Youth Summit titles with Prada.

When she’s not in the gym, Raelynn loves spending time with friends and family—and, of course, anything related to cheer!
With a strong competitive background and excitement for what’s ahead, she’s ready to make new memories, learn new skills, and have an incredible season with YSL.

Welcome to the 2026–2027 YSL Collection, Raelynn! ✨
