My guy @liamkearns_g13 always and forever proud of you. Singed up for Charlotte Fall Open, left solo dolo in his division. Traveled down not expecting to roll at all, hasn’t been able to train prior to, woke up Sunday morning and I asked him “if they can find you a match do you want to compete?” He said “bet, of course I do” Liam literally rolled out of bed more or less went up in age and weight for a match with none of his typical pre comp training, warm up, nothing and still performed great. That’s a Fighter. That’s the sport of Brazilian jiu jitsu. @tbrito13 always told the kids “we don’t get ready, we stay ready” that’s what this kid and his teammates embody. Shout out to our gym @tristatekickboxing our family who is always there in our corners and our texts @rachael_lynn11 @jones7photography @ktramel_mma @alldayjonray @liamkaras_bjj @jordyn_bjj_27 @lilliana23377 @madrid_family_bjj_g13 @bella_bjj_.g13 @alex_bjj_g13 @tristan_bjj_g13

And to Liam’s opponent for accepting a match as well for exhibition, whenever you’re shout out to you & yours 🥋

And of course Dad @profit0409 “coach” for going all in with all of our kids. A1 day1
And our headquarters @g13bjjusa & @rgodoi13 Master Godoi for welcoming us alongside the rest of the gang down in NC. Weekends like this your kids remember forever. Rolls that can’t be taken away with or without a medal.

🎶 BRING ’EM OUT, BRING ’EM OUT! 🔥🥋

DAY 2 | IBJJF CHARLOTTE FALL OPEN 2026 📍North Carolina

🚨 G13 KIDS CAME TO WORK! 🚨
🔥 Liam Karas
🔥 Jordyn Jenkins
🔥 Charlotte Ray
🔥 Liam Kearns
🔥 Bella Madrid
🔥 Alex Madrid
🔥 Tristan Madrid

These kids brought the HEAT with some absolute FIRE matches, representing G13 BJJ and helping bring home 3RD PLACE OVERALL IN THE TEEN DIVISION! 🏆🔥

Here’s what people don’t always understand about competitive jiu-jitsu: It’s HARD. The pressure, the preparation, the nerves, the wins, the losses, and the courage it takes to step onto those mats. Most people these kids walk past every single day will never truly understand what it takes to stand across from another competitor, shake hands, and GO TO WAR.

But WE see it. We know the sacrifices. And we recognize EVERY bit of that hard work. ❤️

These athletes weren’t built overnight. Brick by brick. Round by round. Competition by competition. Through the tough practices, the setbacks, the breakthroughs, and the moments nobody else sees.

They show up with trust in their coaches, faith in the process, and confidence in the family standing behind them.

Coach @alldayjonray Sifu @ktramel_mma & Coach Andy @profit0409 — putting in the work, building these athletes, and standing in their corners when it matters most. Because coaching isn’t just about showing up on competition day. It’s about who puts in the work with them to get there. 💯

Huge shoutout to Master Godoi @rgodoi13 founder of G13 BJJ, for being there coaching and supporting our athletes throughout the weekend! 🙌

And to Professor @tbrito13 ❤️ — without you, we wouldn’t have this team or the years of memories we’ve made competing, growing, and standing side by side You helped build something that goes so much deeper than medals and trophies. Your impact is in every one of these kids, every match, and every moment we share as a team. We miss you, Professor. This family will always carry a piece of you onto those mats. ❤️🥋

Different journeys, ONE G13 FAMILY. The work speaks. The mats don’t lie. And that hardware came home with the team. 🏆

Nobody makes you step on the mat at a big tournament. These three chose to. 🥋

Bella, Alex, and Tristan traveled to the IBJJF Charlotte Open. Every match is a battle, physically and mentally. These three are ready to take it head-on.

Their wins🥇🥇helped the @g13bjjusa earn 3rd place in the teens division. 🥉

What do their coaches love most? They listen. They take feedback and use it. And when it’s go time, they stick to the plan, or adapt when it counts.

There will be days that feel hard. But what’s impressive is their drive to keep pushing forward.

The results will come and go. What stays is how they showed up and how they represented this team. That’s what we’re proudest of.

@tristan_bjj_g13 kicked off the night for us bringing home the W on @furygrappling card! We couldn’t be more proud of him. The hard work he puts into his training showed in his match this evening! He listened well and was able to capitalize to get the submission!

Thank you to all the @beaconmmakids @beaconmixedmartialarts teammates that were able to come out to support and those supporting from afar! 💙🌊⚡️
