Last year, @michaelchernow called me with a vision and intention to bring the depth our work together to a group of men gathered on his land. A few days prior, a group of brothers and I just so happened to be crafting that very retreat. It was pure magic from start to finish. Miraculous.

This year was our second. We didn’t know what to expect after the first year was so powerful... And wow. We were blown away yet again.

The depth and willingness of the men who gathered together was astonishing. From the opening circle, there was this deep desire for change and a willingness to look at what was in the way of that.

Each man courageously dove deep into their history, their emotions and their pain...Only to come out the other end more fortified in their prayers, their comittments and life itself.

Every share felt like medicine for me personally. So I want to say thank you to all the brothers who poured their hearts out around the fire. I gained so much from every one of you and your heart-felt presence.

Thank you to @michaelchernow for your land, your depth and your heart. And each of my brothers (@loveanthonyescobar , @chefscottmcdonald , @ricky_ericardo , @devarunalife ) who brought their magic, medicine and personality that helped created the container for this group to meet themselves in an honest way.

Thank you to @filmedbyaustin_ for capturing the essence of what Return to Self is about and holding true to his personal transformation from last year.

I’m in awe at what you’ve woven here Creator. Thank you for bringing these ways to our lives and believing in us to carry the message forward. Thank you to the fire who heard our prayers and received our pains. A million thank you’s wouldn’t begin to express it all.

It’s time for men to open their hearts, meet their pain and lead from a deeper place.
Our women and children deserve that.
Our world needs that.
And we’ve only just begun.

We spent a couple days planting new greenery at Oakstone Glamping Resort, helping make this beautiful retreat even more vibrant for future guests. Surrounded by fresh mountain air, towering trees, and the natural beauty near Yosemite, every plant added a little more life to an already magical place.
There’s something special about getting your hands in the soil and contributing to a space where people come to relax, reconnect, and experience nature. 🌲✨

Last Friday, the Live WELL Realtor® Alliance hosted our May Meetup in the spirit of Mental Health Awareness Month, and the energy in that room was something truly special. A room filled with some of the most amazing real estate professionals right here in Fresno, showing up not just for business, but for each other. That means everything.

Had one of those special walkthrough moments at Oakstone recently.

Our longtime friend Derek Hena — who’s produced some of the most incredible events I’ve ever seen — came out to experience the property firsthand. We walked the land, talked vision, and by the end of it he was already penciling in his 50th birthday celebration here for summer 2027.

That kind of trust from someone who really knows how to throw a party means everything to us.
Oakstone is being built for moments exactly like this — where nature, community, and celebration come together in the shadow of Yosemite.

Today we’re starting the process of picking the perfect wall color for our glamping resort bar @oakstone_yosemite — and that means paint samples everywhere. We’ll be testing a few different shades on the walls to see how they look in natural daylight, sunset light, and cozy evening lighting. The goal is to find a color that feels warm, inviting, and perfectly in tune with the glamping vibe.
