A little over a year and a half ago, I attended one of Manoj’s Wim Hof cold‑plunge seminars. We spent the day practicing the Wim Hof breathing techniques and finished with a cold plunge. It was exhilarating. I left feeling pumped, excited, and vibrant, so I decided to get a cold plunge for myself.

Aside from using it to reduce inflammation after a good workout, I love it for emotional conditioning. Whenever I’m not in a headspace I appreciate, I jump into the cold plunge, turn up the music, and do not leave the tub until my mindset has shifted. It has become a highly effective form of therapy for me.

Manoj and his wife Ashima (who is a phenomenal cook) truly understand Wim Hof’s breathing techniques, and they guide participants for two days through all the methods and the philosophy behind them, helping you tune up both body and mind. I highly recommend checking out their two‑day retreat. Hope to see you there, Tchukon. https://activities.wimhofmethod.com/activities/weekend-mariposa-manoj-yadav/72811 by @tchukon

Spent several days with John Verb ascending the lower section of El Captain. Talk about pushing the boundaries of your comfort zone. When you’re hanging from a rope you can really dive deep into your soul and reprioritize your life. So grateful to have this experience and now I have a goal to train my body and mind to accomplish a full summit next time. by @tchukon
