We wanted to take a moment to reflect on some of the highlights and achievements from February’s Black History Month events! While the College aspires to honor and celebrate Black culture all year long, this year’s Black History Month theme of Black royalty showcased what excellence is all about. Ample and meaningful opportunities were provided to the campus community to engage in dialogue, learn more about historic figures, tie-in how academic research fuels our social justice initiatives, and celebrate!

Shout-out to @tcnjbsu, @naacp_tcnj, @tcnjdining @tcnjkandc @tcnj_ugc @zetasigma_aka for putting on some AMAZING events!

What was your favorite event from Black History Month?! Drop it below!

During the election, I stood outside of Eickhoff Hall and said we need to see improvements. I also made a promise to advocate for your concerns. I have done just that. I have written and got passed a resolution that will URGE TCNJ’s dining services to reimplement meal equivalency or an alternative. To read the entire resolution, check the link in my bio, and also scroll through the slides for more information. Your voice is my voice 💛💙 #tcnjdining @tcnjdining
