A new team, a shared vision, and a year full of possibilities! ✨

The induction of the SHOUTT Core Team marked the beginning of an exciting journey. From understanding SHOUTT’s mission and vision to assigning roles, defining areas of work, and getting to know one another, the session was all about building a strong foundation for the year ahead.

With new responsibilities, shared goals, and plenty of ideas, we’re gearing up for a year of meaningful events, engaging workshops, and collective learning.

Here’s to growing together, collaborating with purpose, and bringing the SHOUTT vision to life! 🌱

Baithak and Beyond Collective Trust organised a poetry writing and recitation workshop for students of grade 4 to 7, titled 'Words in Motion', at Maharshi Annasaheb Shinde Vidyalay, on September 08 2026. The workshop was bilingual, allowing students to express themselves freely and openly.

The activities involved sensory observation, collaborative writing, and voluntary public speaking. Through the workshop, students engaged with poetry as a joyful and low-pressure form of self-expression.

Students who were still building up their fluency and confidence with English participated with great enthusiasm, creating powerful original expressions.

Baithak's board members, Sonali Rasal and Ankita Singh, conducted the session with warmth, sensitivity, and a clear respect for each child's voice and pace. Poets and teachers themselves, our facilitators fostered a safe space for children, encouraging them to express their thoughts and feelings with creativity and poetic craft.

We are deeply grateful to Maharshi Annasaheb Shinde Vidyalay, Teach for India, and @_me.anu_ for this beautiful opportunity, and we look forward to more of such sessions for these bright and promising students.

If you are an educational institution (college or school level) that wishes to organise a creative workshop for your students, email us at officialbaithakandbeyond@gmail.com or send us a dm!

A day full of learning, sharing, creating, and a LOT of dancing! 💫

26th September — City of Conference, Pune. ❤️

From listening to entrepreneurs share their journeys, to well-being sessions where we paused and reflected, to the SparkED where fellows and students came together to showcase what learning looks like inside our classrooms — every part of the day had something to take back.

And then came the best part… ending the day together, dancing, laughing, reflecting, and celebrating the journey we’re all on. 🫶🏽

A beautiful reminder that learning doesn’t always happen inside a classroom. Sometimes, it happens through conversations, communities, creativity, and the people we meet along the way.

A day full of learning. A day full of joy. A day to remember. ✨

Something big is coming to the city ✨

TFI MUN made its way to SparkED at Pune’s Annual City Conference, bringing a glimpse of the debates, ideas, diplomacy, and student voices that make TFI MUN what it is.

This was just the showcase. The real conversation is coming soon.

Ready to take the floor this year?

We are looking for artists to collaborate with us!🎨

Over the years, artists have brought their practices to our students at Saturday Art Class, giving them the chance to learn through direct, hands-on experiences with different mediums, ideas and approaches.

Working directly with renowned artists like N. S. Harsha, Ruby Jhunjhunwala and more, students get to experiment with materials and engage with creative processes in ways that go beyond simply learning about them.

We’ve loved seeing the installations that have come out of these collaborations, and we’re looking for more artists to create these experiences with.

Reach out to us via DM or comment below. We’d love to hear from you. 🌻

A PMC school in Pune. Teachers who show up every single day. And yet, there is no staff toilet for them.

For something as basic as using a washroom, they have to step outside the school and depend on nearby establishments.

We want to change that.

We’re helping these teachers to raise funds to install a bio-toilet for the school ,a small intervention, but one that brings something every workplace should guarantee: basic dignity.

If you’d like to support this, please scan the qr code at the end of the video.
Sometimes, changing a school starts with fixing the most basic things first. ❤️

What if your class had to decide how to spend the country's money?

That's exactly the dilemma we handed our Grade 7 students in JLAP Session 2: "No One Left Behind."

The Big Question: How does a country hold people together when they have different amounts, and believe different things?

Students stepped into a National Budget Meeting , five towns, each pitching for funds: a school, a road, clean water, a place of worship. They voted, negotiated, and quickly discovered that fairness isn't the same as giving everyone an equal share. That's when "Socialist" and "Secular" stopped being textbook words and became something they'd just practised: a government working to close the gap between rich and poor, and treating every belief with equal standing.

Five sessions to go before our Class Preamble comes together🌻

Before we ever said the word "Constitution," our classroom had already lived it⚖️

That's the idea behind JLAP (the Juvenile Legal Awareness Program), and it's exactly how Session 1, Our Class, Our Rules, unfolded in our Grade 7 classroom this week.

We started with a question, not a definition: Who actually decides for a group?

From there, students didn't just hear about "Sovereign" and "We, the People", they built their own Class Constitution: debating rules, voting on what belonged in it, and signing their own Preamble strips to claim it as theirs.

What stayed with us wasn't the vocabulary. It was watching students realise that a rule feels different when you helped write it.

A huge thank you to @Mayank Chaturvedi for designing a program that makes constitutional values something students feel first, and name later. It's rare to see a curriculum trust children with an idea this big, and trust teachers with a framework this thoughtful🌻

Six sessions to go before our class holds its own signed Preamble. Excited for where this takes us next✨

As part of our ongoing efforts and initiatives around creating awareness towards POCSO and Child Safety, we recently conducted child safety sessions for students of Grades 4–7 and their parents at Maharishi Annasaheb Shinde School, Pune.
With the children, we had age-appropriate conversation about safe and unsafe touch, body boundaries, recognising uncomfortable situations and the importance of speaking up. With parents, we explored how to recognise signs of abuse and create an environment where children feel safe to ask questions, share concerns and seek help.
At Aks, we are committed to creating safe spaces for children to grow and thrive.

Meet our Leads for Teach For India MUN 2026–27 🌍✨

Ayush Kumar Jha and Avilasha Ghosh step into this role together this year, carrying forward a legacy that has given hundreds of students a seat at the table to debate, question and represent perspectives beyond their own.

Their vision: to grow Model United Nations into a lasting culture, not just within our schools but beyond them too, where more students see debate and diplomacy as a space that's truly theirs.

Here's to a year full of dialogue, discovery and diplomacy. Let's build this together 🤝
