Day 4…
Mevagissey exploring all the streets, ran from Gorran Haven back to Mevagissey. Then went to my Fav beach in Cornwall, Pentewan. Another day, another sea swim and got a good haul of sea glass🥰

I’ve spent a little time today going through these photos and, honestly… WOW.
What a journey it’s been. 🥹

These are 49 memories from our Chat & Eat Night adventures, from 2014 – 2026. Looking back at them has made me realise just how much I/ Potluck Cornwall has achieved.

And this is only one part of the story. These photos don’t include all the Supper Clubs, Foraging Adventures, Bring & Share Potlucks, Host-a-Roasts, Feast Nights, food-related movie nights, cookery classes, collaborations and all the other food-fuelled adventures we’ve created along the way.

Fourteen years of living in Cornwall and I've eaten a heck of a lot of sensational food. 😂🍴

And, I’m incredibly proud to say, a whole lot of return business brought to Cornwall’s wonderful independent hospitality industry along the way.

What makes me proudest is why Potluck Cornwall started in the first place.
It was never just about going out for a meal.
It started predominantly from a desire to help tackle loneliness and isolation, to create spaces where people could turn up, sit around a table with strangers and leave having shared good food, stories, belly laughed and made a new friend or two.

And 49 Chat & Eat Nights later, that still gives me the biggest buzz. I’m so proud of what I’ve built, but I absolutely couldn’t have done it without you.
Every person who has booked a ticket, brought a friend, came along on their own, supported an event, shared a post, recommended Potluck to someone else or simply kept showing up, thank you. 🥰

You’ve helped make this little idea into something much bigger than I ever imagined. So here’s to Chat & Eat No.50 @konabar_ …and then, of course, the next 50 adventures.

I wonder where we’ll end up next…🍜😉

Revisiting Cornwall after nearly 3 years, I knew @teacuptearoom was a place I had to come back to when the trip got booked.

This fabulous tearoom was so dog friendly on my last visit and from that first visit they have followed my account ever since and are so supportive, liking most my posts 🫶 I wanted to come back and reciprocate the love ❤️ and of course share some clotted cream from the delicious scones that hoomum and Grandpawrents were enjoying 😋

Safe to say. it was still as great as before and my only wish was that I was closer to be able to visit more often.

A walk around Mevagissey harbour afterwards followed by a trip to @cdogpetboutique to spend my pawket money given by a lovely lady. Thank you 😘

Mevagissey Fudger family… this one’s for you!! 🥰❤️

You’ve supported us since day one, and we’re so excited to share that you can now find our fudge stocked at the gorgeous Teacup Tearoom! ☕️🍬

We honestly couldn’t feel more honoured to have teamed up with Teacup Tearoom — officially Cornwall’s Best Café/Tearoom 2026! 🤯✨

And what makes it even more special? Our very first stockists being based in beautiful Mevagissey… a village that holds such a special place in our hearts (mostly thanks to Father Fudger… or should we say Father Fisherman 😅🎣).

So if you’re spending this beautiful Bank Holiday Monday in Mevagissey, please pop into Teacup Tearoom and grab your Fudge Finger boxes while they last! 💝

Pair them with one of Teacup’s AMAZING hot drinks (taste-tested 😏☕️), take them for a wander around the stunning harbour, or pick them up as the sweetest little Cornish gift 🥰

Thank you for continuing to support our little dream — it truly means the world. ❤️

During our last trip to Cornwall, we visited this beautiful little tearoom in Mevagissey. The @teacuptearoom is well worth a visit! It has an array of delicious treats (with many gluten-free options available), a welcoming atmosphere, and they also stock @birdandblendtea! We'll be back again in September and can't wait to visit! ☕️🍰

Mevagissey was very grey this morning but that didn’t stop us from having a mooch about. Another cream tea was had - you’ll need to roll me home at this rate and I went all in with the hot chocolate too 😋

When you go on a little break away it's always a joy to go and catch-up with businesses you formed an affinity with over lockdown... @teacuptearoom it was so lovely to enjoy your scrummy cheese scones and glorious tea today. Plus, it was a pleasure to visit @the_roberts_gallery_meva .. It would have been rude not to have made a purchase... The "nearly there trees" tea light holder is a gem of a reminder of trips from Somerset to Cornwall.

Wishing you both all the best for the season ahead. Much love from #teamcollective
