What a privilege and honor it has been, to complete another year of training 🙃✨not only incredible clients but honing in on my body practicing what I preach 🙏🏼allowing rest days… proper functional medicine, nutrition, the list goes on… I’ve been incredibly dedicated to fueling my body to get back to where I thought it needed to be …come to find out that I am surpassing my goals and onto new ones…. Bachata dance at Merzouga, Sahara Desert. This dance is dedicated to one of my student, She had asked me to add this song to our Wed. 6PM Zumba dance list. So while I was in desert, I was trying to create and figured out choreography of this bachata song. This is what I came up so far.

Still riding the high from a killer Pilates class with @movementwith_jill! 💛

Seriously, this Pilatesclass by at @bignightfitness was unreal! I felt like I was at a club, but working out! Everything from the energy, to the playlist, to the lights and atmosphere was on point!

I loved switching up my running and strength routine with pilates! The little pulses were so effective and challenging, helping me to strengthen muscles I don’t focus on as often! Plus the abs section was 🔥

Even got to enjoy time with friends in the Boston fitness community!

The people I’ve met and connected with through the fitness community has been unbelievable! Everyone is always so kind and friendly. Forever grateful for it! 🤍

🍂Happy Friday!! And welcome to November. Full confessions…

🤦🏼‍♀️I’ve done exactly what I tell my clients not to let happen. I let life run me ragged and I haven’t stuck to self-care practices until it’s too late.

I recommitted to my care in August when I got my @garmin Forerunner 255 Music. I’m back to being able to track my steps (goal of 10k a day), my calories, and my activities, recovery and even my stress levels and HRV.

I know that so many people are resistant to a tracker but trust me it works. At the very least, wear it for three days straight to track an average movement. Shoot for 10k a day or, if you are really sedentary, add slowly building a few hundred extra a day.

Apps like @strava will also help you find people and motivation to stay active. You can find me there and on @onepeloton for cycling. Here I am riding this week with @hannahfrankson and her 45min 80s ride.

Some people can make these changes alone, but more often, life changes like these are easier with accountability and cheerleaders. 📣

So don’t wait. Start today! And know that I’m here for you.
