I am all about that “slow cooking” 😜

I get it, when you’re goal is to get healthier and stronger, you can feel the urge to rush to get back. ESPECIALLY, when things start to feel good again…

But my approach is to slow things down and make them as simple as possible - boring almost - because that way we never overdo it!

We have to go slow so that you can (eventually) go fast!

Hey MooseDuro-ers! You should have seen an email today with a link to www.alberta66mtb.com/Mooseduro where you’ll find all the info you need for race day!

We’d also like to thank our final awesome event bronze sponsors:

@teamversamc will be set up with a physio booth at the finish line, drop by to get your aches and pains assessed and book some physio for the winter 😝

We also have support this year from our buddy @383ridedynamics in Melita Manitoba! If you happen to live in SW Manitoba and shred bikes (it happens) - see this man for a suspension tune!! 🤗

Community ❤️

We wrapped up our annual Run Social events with our YYC Run Social this past Wednesday.

Huge ❤️ @bornbrewingco for hosting & @arcteryx.alberta and @teamversamc for joining the fun, connecting, rad giveaways & authentically supporting our run community.

We are beyond honoured to hold space with @calgarytrailrunners @calgary_trail_culture @missiondistrictruncrew & @attitudeoveraltitude (Pain Train Run Collective). These run collectives hit the pavement and/or trail every week; give’em a follow on ig, fb & meet up and join them for more sweaty miles & cheer all year round.

We can’t wait to see y’all again soon!

Cheers friends ❤️

Here is a quick recap from our Injury prevention workshop led by Andrea Ginter in collaboration with Versa Movement Collective, 💪🏼🩰 We learned how assessment and treatment with a dance-knowledgeable physiotherapist can improve dance safety and skill, and how individualized strengthening programs can prevent injury and increase dance performance. Building a trust relationship with Andrea while we’re healthy or experiencing minor soreness is a powerful way to prevent injury and prevent worsening of symptoms. Let’s keep dancing strong and healthy! 🕺🏽💃🏼 #leapstudios #dance #dancesafety #preventinjury #danceperformance #dancerhealth #physiotherapy
