For my birthday this year, I am fundraising and supporting @youngstorytellers ! 💖 Surprise ! 😄 At Young Storytellers , we believe our students stories have the power to overcome biases, create empathy , make students feel heard and more self-confident through the art of sharing and creating their own original stories.
The arts have always had an important place in history during troubled times, and NOW is one of those times . Creating great art , and the transformative power of storytelling, can often be the impetus to promote healthy change in our lives and others, and used to raise awareness about social and political issues , giving a voice to marginalised groups. It can be a highly effective tool in advocacy, activism, and restorative justice. We are continuously focused on how we can best equip young people to be the driving force in their own stories. Please donate , act in our kids Big Shows , or volunteer to be a mentor for this fabulous cause and kind group of humans ✌🏻🙏🏻 Link in bio..
