Today we reflected while having deep conversations to unlearn things that continue to hold us in a place that no longer serves us. Many are tired of the day-to-day humdrum of life that doesn’t allow us the freedom to be what and who we need to be to honor ourselves.

When I stepped in front of the ladies to speak, I felt that I wasn’t ready. I still have postpartum brain. My thoughts are fleeting. My mouth sometimes can’t catch up with my brain and I find myself stumbling upon my words. But even in the moment of uncertainty, I still showed up and the ladies gave me grace, I needed that. I needed to feel and see sisterhood. I found that today.

Thank you for giving to me more than you were aware of. Thank you for being an anchor or for some of you who came to me, thank you for allowing me to be that anchor for you.

-With love, Kay🫶🏾🌸

Killeen we're coming for you! 😍☕️🥂

If you're a founder or business professional ( or you know one!) that is looking to make some new, meaningful connections, do some business and/or get your juices flowing again (it's been a rough time for so many of us), please join us THIS FRIDAY 11am-1pm at the Courtyard Marriott in Killeen, Texas for Her Texas' last event of 2023!

Coffee and Mimosas is a FREE event and everyone is welcome. You do NOT have to be in Killeen to attend this. ALL ARE WELCOME.

We're shining a light on some awesome #womanowned businesses from the pastries, sweet treats and coffee that will be served to the mimosa station powered by Mercedes with @bringthebartx and custom holiday inspired cocktails from @islandgetawayrum.

And special shout out to @glow.360photobooth for adding so much fun to the event too. (She’s booking for the holidays y’all!)

And I'm excited to introduce you to three amazing businesswomen who will join me for a real talk on what it takes to launch a business in Texas (the good, the bad and the UGLY). Thank you to Tanida, Shuantelle and Luvina for joining us. I know that you sharing your journey and experiences will make an impact on us all 🫶🏾

Go to the @hertexasco page and click on the link to grab your free pass.

(And if you get in early on Thursday night, I’ll be hosting founder drinks and dinner. DM me for details on how to join!j
