Every young person deserves a chance to genuine love and friendships.
No manipulation.
Not love in exchange for anything..
Just a trusted and a safe space .

Dear teenager,

No sane adult will ever ask you to keep a secret from your parents, especially when it concerns your private matters.

Be guided.

We were listening to one of our girls talk about the values she has placed on herself.

And honestly, I loved listening to her.

Because sometimes, the biggest transformation is not just what a young person learns in school, but what she begins to believe about herself.

“I have value.”
“I matter.”
“I deserve to be respected.”
“My choices matter.”

Today, on World Teachers’ Day, I’m thinking about the teachers who help plant these seeds.

The teacher who notices the quiet girl.
The one who encourages her.
The one who corrects her without making her feel worthless.
The one who reminds her that her story is not over.

Some lessons never appear on the classroom board.

But they stay with a child for life.

To every teacher helping a young person discover her worth—thank you.

Happy World Teachers’ Day.

Dear teenager, your background may explain where you started, but it doesn’t have to determine where you’re going.

Your background is not enough reason for your future to remain on the ground.

Rise. Grow. Become.

Don’t let where you started limit where you can go.

Dear Parents, choose PRESENCE over PRESENTS.

Your child may forget the toy you bought, but they may never forget the time you gave them.

Sit with them.
Listen to them.
Talk. Laugh. Be there.

Sometimes, the greatest gift is simply YOU.

Be that safe space where your child can say,
“I can tell Mum.
I can tell Dad.
They will listen.”

Be friends with your teenagers. ❤️l

Not to stop being their parent, but to become the person they can talk to about anything.

Because if they can’t tell you the little things, how will they tell you the big things?

Be their safe place.

Start a conversation with your teenager today.

I saw this post on
@armthechildfoundation page and I fell in love with it.
This is 💯 relatable to the work that we do .
We advocate for teenagers to stay in school, finish their education and choose a beautiful future for themselves.

Empowered teens make better and informed decisions.

Not perfect.
Not finished.
Just growing.

Keep blooming, teenager. Your story is still unfolding.
