Todays lunch took under five minutes to plate up. I just pulled out leftovers from my fridge. When you eat a healthy dinner you end up with healthy left overs! It’s contagious!! A packet of raw coleslaw adds important fibre, green snow peas from the garden and important cofactors to support your liver and cherry tomato’s ( my husband is the Gardner not me, so won’t take credit for the yummy cherry tomatoes) and pan fried barramundi infused with Garlic and olive oil. Light mayo and you have a meal! Tell me what is your favourite fast-(healthy)- food. Love to hear comment below. #healthyfastfood #coleslawisthebest #feedingyourgut #nutritiontips

Speaking with people who know their sh#t when it comes to mental health has opened my eyes to so many things and improved my life in so many ways, few as important than these 4 things it’s helped me realise about my parents.

* Therapy helped me realise: They do not have all the answers. Understanding that like us, our parents have been navigating their own inner world of concerns and uncertainties throughout their lives. As kids, we thought they should know all the answers like what’s right and wrong at all times, but the truth is they’re just doing their best, like us.

* Therapy helped me realise: They crave the same things we do. Love, attention, acknowledgment, praise. These things didn’t simply go away when they became parents.

* Therapy helped me realise: Like it or not, you likely picked up a few less than favourable traits from them. Speaking with the right people helped me understand that just like we mimic our parents, they likely mimic theirs. This helped me see their flaws without shame, blame, or judgment.

* Therapy helped me realise: Communication is a skill that some have struggled with and some have mastered. They’re good at talking about some things, but not everything. Therapy helped me understand how to have those uncomfortable conversations when I needed to, and how to manage whatever comes from it.

* Now go message your mum or dad and tell them you love them.

What did therapy help you understand about your parents?

✅ Why is finding the right massage therapist important?

Finding the right massage therapist is important because:

1. Personalized Care: A skilled therapist can tailor the massage to your specific needs, addressing your unique issues or preferences.

2. Health Benefits: The right therapist can help alleviate pain, reduce stress, improve circulation and enhance overall well-being through the power of touch.

3. Safety: A trained therapist ensures your safety by using proper techniques and hygiene, minimizing the risk of injury or infection.

4. Trust and Comfort: Building a rapport with your therapist fosters trust and makes you feel more comfortable during sessions.

5. Long-Term Benefits: Consistent sessions with the right therapist can lead to long-term health benefits and improved quality of life.

6. Knowledge and Experience: A qualified therapist possesses the knowledge and experience to effectively address various conditions and promote healing.

7. Enjoyment: The right therapist can create a relaxing and enjoyable experience, making your massage sessions something to look forward to.

8. Stress Reduction: The process of finding a trusted therapist can itself be a stress reducer, as you can relax knowing you’re in capable hands.

Overall, finding the right massage therapist can greatly enhance the effectiveness and enjoyment of your massage experience.

Drinking the @metagenics_anz green stuff to help the liver do its thing and hopefully have the flow on effect of improving lipid profiles. ❤️.
It seems moving into peri menopause for many unsuspecting women can trigger genetic or predisposed conditions to surface. 👿.
Being on top of your blood testing should show any irregularities which may need some further investigation with functional testing to get to the root cause. In our 40s it’s time to stop using bandaids and dig deeper to understand what’s really going on.
🔬.
I’m here to help you if you need some comfort to know you’re not alone and advice on a way forward.
Going through this stuff myself puts me in a much stronger position to understand you. I’m all about supporting my beautiful sisters. 🙏💕👱‍♀️👩🏿 .

Here are 4 if my favourite Apps! .
These 4 Apps make my life easier in their own unique way. Check them out! .
Splice. This is a video editing program that can sync my GoPro videos or any videos I take with my phone. I can add my own music, text and edit a great little video on my phone and it’s easy as. I use this a lot when I’m camping either on the Harley or in my truck.
.
Insight timer. This is a meditation App that has countless styles of meditations of various lengths and styles. I mostly use the sleep or muscle relaxing into sleep meditations about 3-4 times a week. I always have a better nights sleep when I use this great tool.
.
Google Calendar. This I use everyday for scheduling my clients for work but lately I have been using it to schedule in my workouts, jobs around home and anything else I can think of. This minimises any down time and aids me in getting more done in my day.
.
Podcasts. I listen to podcasts while I’m having breakfast, in the shower, working out, doing the dishes and whilst driving. They are great for learning new things and hearing interesting stories from incredible people. You will learn things and be inspired during times that would normally be boring like sitting in traffic or scrubbing pots and pans.

BRUNCH ANYONE??? Take away the rules about when you eat and what you eat. From children we are programmed to eat breakfast, lunch and dinner and snacks at certain times. Our appetites have been trained... like Pavlov’s dog theory... hear the bell and your tummy responds..(google it, very interesting). So what if you threw that thinking out the window and just ate when you were hungry? Intuitive eating (or eating when you’re hungry) is so powerful but the trick is to make every meal nutrient dense as you may find you aren’t as hungry, as you’re body responds. If you’re interested in learning more about this, drop me a line... I love listening and helping people🙏. .

Drum roll...And here it is!!!! This is what I’ve spent the last 3 years working towards. I’ve had some delightful lecturers and made some lovely friends along the way. Just waiting for the feelings of achievement, pride and relief to wash over me...Maybe in a few weeks when my brain realises it’s been on holidays? So now to the To Do list to get this new path cranked up for 2018. Let the games begin. (ps I have really enjoyed studying at ACNT and will be back for more down the track). . #revivalnutrition #graduation #acnt #education #healthyfood #nutritionist #newpath #wellness #lifestyle #study #tick #doneanddusted #healthandwellness #connect #studentlife #life #journey #experience #healthspo #relief #personaldevelopment #friendship #practitioner #educator #publicspeaking #leadtheway #happiness #womeninbusiness #womeninwellness
