RIP GRAN 💔

On Monday just passed: we said a fair well to my gran. We had a lovely memorial for her (but not a traditional funeral)

There was a private cremation then we have a memorial lunch to celebrate her life. Bring everyone who knew my gran into one room. Now that’s special esp when my 86 year gran, will never know that over 100 people came along.

Why am I mentioning this…

Because I honoured my gran to create the stationery for the day.

I wanted to share this!!

Will always love you gran, miss you soooo much. 💔💔

Ps. I also hand painted the watercolour assets!!

ILLUSTRATION WORKSHOP 🎨🖌️

Held at @morena.london and run by @elsa_works_ this was such a lovely event. The wine was flowing (unlimited) and the paint was watery!!

I have been following @elsa_works_ for a while and love her style of painting with watercolour. So when I saw she was doing this work shop I knew I had to go.

I had so much fun and was lovely to meet other arty and creative people.

Thanks you @morena.london and @elsa_works_ ✨

Ps I should have got more content but I was really in zone!!

HITCHED SUMMER SOCIAL!!

Finally got my hand on a copy of the photos from the summer social, me in my element.

Went solo, chatted and had a laugh and met some love islanders as well.

Was such a fun evening!!

Making the most of being in London.

Thanks @mollysmith19 and @tomclare for being so lovely. 🥰 was lovely to meet you.

SOMETHING A LITTLE DIFFERENT FROM ME…. But still creative - as I love to find creative workshops while I live in London.

As part of the London design week, floor story and coco lom came together to put on a collage workshop for people to come and design their own rug design through collage.

And one person will actually get their rug made into a physical product which is sooo kl!!

So if you know I can get competitive… I took it very seriously. It was such a fun workshop to be part of.

The story behind my rug design: this year I have experienced grief twice. So I wanted to take the emotion of grief and turn it into a piece of art.

The ripped paper is to indicate the loss of a love one, the distorted circles is the heart break.

The black square is to signify death and the white lines are the memories left behind.

I was obsessed with the out come!!

Thank you to @floor_story and @_cocolom_ - another sponsor @sancal

✨ PEACE OUT APRIL!! ✨

April has been a world wind…

It was sad at the beginning as we had to say bye to my Papa!! - RIP!! 💔 had some time to reflect, grief comes and goes at random times. Take each day as it comes.

Then had a flying visit up to Edinburgh!! For Easter weekend. Which was so lovely spending time with family and friends. Managed to see 3 friends in one day all individually!!

Had my nails done, chilli theme as it was my boyfriend’s birthday - he loves spicy food 😉 but they also worked for our Mexican night with friends.

Along with going to events, started off strong with brewing exhibition at @sophieteaart studio/house. Then managed to bag tickets for Im a celeb grand final live studio audience!! Where I also got a pic with @scarlettmoffatt as a bonus!!

My bake for this month was Simnel cake never made it before, it was lush!!

Over and out April!! - ending it on high 😉

GOAL TO GET TO ADOBE MAX USA!!

I started using Adobe at school—and never stopped.

Over the years, I’ve grown with it, not just through creating, but by showing up.

From Adobe MAX London to Adobe Create Now Glasgow, and watching Adobe MAX online each year—this community has been a big part of my journey.

Now I want to experience it on the biggest stage. In the US.

One step further.

If you see this please share comment and tag @adobe to get their attention!!

Magazine mayhem…. ✨

I have been lucky the last few years as myself and some of my design work have ended up in magazines.

How??

Design work my client organised it, total shock to me 🤯 I couldn’t believe it when I saw it.

The other times was just for showing up at an event and ended up in magazines after it! Both events I bought a ticket to. Show up as you never know what can happen!!

Wonder if it will happen again??
