It was such an empowering day, for girl power. To be part of such an incredible project was an honour!!

(Also I am a girlie who loves having a photo taken. )

We could bring an object if we wanted to so I through I wanted to show case my creative side for sure!! Also had to stationery designs that included flamingos so it had to the pair of them!!

Thank you to @bodyandsoulstudios_ and @abbey__asher for putting this event on. I love how my photo turned out so thank you.

HITCHED SUMMER SOCIAL!!

Finally got my hand on a copy of the photos from the summer social, me in my element.

Went solo, chatted and had a laugh and met some love islanders as well.

Was such a fun evening!!

Making the most of being in London.

SOMETHING A LITTLE DIFFERENT FROM ME…. But still creative - as I love to find creative workshops while I live in London.

As part of the London design week, floor story and coco lom came together to put on a collage workshop for people to come and design their own rug design through collage.

And one person will actually get their rug made into a physical product which is sooo kl!!

So if you know I can get competitive… I took it very seriously. It was such a fun workshop to be part of.

The story behind my rug design: this year I have experienced grief twice. So I wanted to take the emotion of grief and turn it into a piece of art.

The ripped paper is to indicate the loss of a love one, the distorted circles is the heart break.

The black square is to signify death and the white lines are the memories left behind.

I was obsessed with the out come!!

Wow a whole year in the big smoke!!

It’s been a rollercoaster of a year….

Everyone says take risks so I did… I moved to London with out a job lined up and only 3k in savings.

What a year it’s been, I would be lying if I said it was hard or challenging at .

On thing that been difficult in such a big city is making some new friends, I ended up getting a job in community care part time

- but i work solo 1:1 with clients, I haven’t made one pal through my work and for this social butterfly that has taken a toll at points. Freelance work / gigs I managed to get again working solo.

But I have been trying so hard, going to meet ups, socials , networking events, pole and yoga. I have met people but not been my kind of people if you get me. I am so selective with my friend, meaning I can bring them all together and they get on.

But I am glad so took this risk and I can’t believe it’s been a solid year.

On the other hand I have some cool experiences from my trip to indonesia in June, to ending up on a roof top bar at the hitched summer social. Been to the theatre once or twice.

So I look forward to see where year 2 will take me!! by @teganmacmoss

Back in April my Papa J - passed away!!

I was lucky enough to have inherited a small amount of money from him. I wanted to spend it wisely, so I decide to design a bespoke ring then get @inocreative to bring my drawing to life.

The story behind the ring: my papa j loved being on boats, and he also wanted his ashes to be spread across the Scottish sea!! So I had to create a ring to show case a boat and the ocean. 🌊

This was the final piece. With Papa J engraved in the ring!! 💕✨ by @teganmacmoss

THANKS TO @penniestopoundspod and @oramastudiosldn for a lovely start to my Saturday. It was tough but I really enjoyed it!! Such a lovely event. Will come to another for sure.

SUMMER 2026 BABY!! ☀️

What a summer it was…. Meeting new people, traveling to Indonesia for the first time!! 😜

Going to a pasta making workshop with a new friend @emer_lb

Going to a lot of fun socials. Putting myself out there. Seeing old face 🥰 canoeing down the canal - being visited by a local fox throughout the summer.
