Part 2 of what we read in a week as full time working girlies 🫶🏻

I wasn’t well last week and my reading definitely reflected that🤭🤪 Crown me Dead / Crown me Yours has been a big topic between us 3 - just waiting for Chloe to finish so we can all cry together. We need to thank Tegan for suggesting it to us🥺

💭 How much did you cry at Crown me Yours and are you trying to complete SJM universe for October🤭

LOL little error in my pages 🤣 Oh well, thank god we don’t do maths x

⭐️Bring your own book themed cocktail🍹⭐️

Last night with the girlies, so so much fun, of course we had the matching book club pjs🤭

My cocktail was based off insatiable, my favourite dark romance🥀

Shoutout to our lovely hostess @charlotteks99 for having us, the little gifts and the stunning food platters🍓🍰

Magpie
Elizabeth Day
⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

I’ll keep this short and sweet…..

I was hooked with this one, Elizabeth Day really captures both the physical and mental side of infertility in this story and it’s so refreshing and informative for her readers.

I really felt invested in Marissa, Jake and Kate and their journey and relationships. Now Jake’s mum Annabella I could not stand from the moment she was mentioned.

This was a rollercoaster of a storyline and I would definitely check out the TW before reading it.

I would recommend this, as the way it was told was done so with experience and knowledge.
