🍂🤎Here are my October hopefuls 🤎🍂

Little less on this month’s as I have a busy month with one of my besties getting married ✨

I’m hoping to finally get somewhere with queen of shadows. I am loving it but I feel like it needs my full attention so I don’t always pick it up!

I picked how not to raise the dead up from @thespicylibrarianuk so I’m super excited to get to that one. taken in BOOKSTA by @teganreads

Part 2 of what we read in a week as full time working girlies 🫶🏻

I wasn’t well last week and my reading definitely reflected that🤭🤪 Crown me Dead / Crown me Yours has been a big topic between us 3 - just waiting for Chloe to finish so we can all cry together. We need to thank Tegan for suggesting it to us🥺

💭 How much did you cry at Crown me Yours and are you trying to complete SJM universe for October🤭

LOL little error in my pages 🤣 Oh well, thank god we don’t do maths x

Come visit an American bookshop with me!

I’ve recently been to Nashville and they had the cutest book shop- Slow Burn Bookshop 🇺🇸

I seriously could have spent hours in here! I managed to rein myself in and only bought three. taken in Nashville, Tennessee by @teganreads

Fave read: this is super hard but I literally stayed up all night reading crown me dead so it has to be that! Although I am loving TOG overall and think it’s going to be one of my top tier series ❤️‍🔥

Here’s to chapter 30🧁✨

I’ve had a lovely birthday this weekend. A Bridgerton themed party, a lovely meal, endless supply of cake and lots of goodies and time with friends and family.

Hope you’ve had a fab weekend too! 🫶🏻

Here’s my last, now, next!

Last - Daybreak 💜
Guys this one was sooo good! I binged this duology in literal days! I loved the banter, the dynamics and the setting. I thought the atory was predictable but it was so fun to read and I loved how it was written. 4.75⭐️

Now - Crown of Midnight ❤️

I’m liking this one more than ToG but the characters are taking some time to warm up to. I’ve not read Assassin’s Blade yet so I’m hoping I’ve not made a mistake!

Next - HOSAB 💙

Obviously with the news last night I’m going to have to get in gear. I’m trying to sprinkle Sarah J Maas in between some of my other reads so that I can read the new ACOTAR when it’s released with all the storylines fresh in my mind!

Happy reading guys ✨🫶🏻✨

🖤🕯️📚Two for two Tuesday 📚🕯️🖤

This one is set in the same world as the serpent & Dove series (which I haven’t read)

I’m excited to get to these because it’s vampires! I used to love vampire books when I was younger - Twilight, Vampire Academy, House of Night 🦇
So I’m always on the lookout for those sort of stories!

Hoping these will scratch the itch.

☀️My August hopefuls ☀️

I’m in the middle of The Compelling Fates Saga and I’m eating it up!

I’m audio booking Throne of Glass. As you can see I’m in my Sarah J Maas era as I’m trying to also get through Crescent City: I really enjoyed the first one so I’m looking forward to the second!

I’ve also started the rose bargain and I’m enjoying that so far too.

Happy reading 📖 🫶🏻

June Recap

📖🌞🍨🍋

Some things I’ve been loving in June!
Noah Kahan’s album has been on repeat. There’s not a skip song.

I recently saw Harry Styles in London. Seeing him sing Carla’s Song and Season 2 Weightloss was unreal. Loved loved that show and he sang Cherry 🍒

I also (along with everyone else I think) binge watched Off Campus and I actually prefer it to the book!

I also had a little mini staycation in the Lake District which was a lovely reset 🤍

These are the books I read in June.

I started the Assistant to the Villain series and really like it! It’s so whimsical and full of found family moments, I recommend the audiobook!

I also read two Carley Fortune books and I preferred OGS. Every summer after was good but my girl Percy was unbearable at times. I’m not loving the series adaptation either 🤭

I also read Beartown - it was unbearable. The prose was so bad guys and I’m so shocked I didn’t like it because it gets so much love! Hard pass for me! taken in BOOKSTA by @teganreads

Earlier this year I went to my first ever big bookish event @fictionfestuk. With the event tickets coming out for next year’s Fiction Fest I remembered I forgot to show off my goodies I collected!

Lots of lovely authors and businesses were there. I loved being able to have some of my books signed and I loved having conversations with new to me authors. I can’t wait to read everything 🤍 taken in BOOKSTA by @teganreads

💌Guyssss 💌

@what.coco.reads carried out a giveaway recently and I won a gorgeous special edition and goodies!

I actually haven’t read Bride yet but this cover art makes me so excited! I don’t know which dust jacket design I prefer, they’re both gorgeous! 🐺

This giveaway included some goodies from Coco’s own design - including an Edge of Darkness and Binding 13 bookmark ✨

Super super thankful again! 🫶🏻
