Snapshot Collab & Open Letters to God showcase (Jan 2026)

Tl;Dr celebration, thank you and reflection. Still going 🫡🎉📢

There are so many things to say about last month but honestly I wanna say thank you from the bottom of my heart to everyone who showed love and either came through to the showcases or sent support from afar. January was a crazy month with a lot of stuff happening, to see my art out here and about then to see familiar and new faces enjoying and praising it really hit me 🥹

It's been a crazy journey but I'm still going. I'm not done yet, there is more to come and I'm starting to let the fear go. Embrace the community who have been shouting the support and to believe in myself more (a few important people always told me I'm here for a reason and the work I've done is a testament of it, shout out to those people)👏🏽

Thank you to @snapshot.collab and @ashersimmonsmusic for the opportunity and for delivering some amazing events

Longing shoot:
@miadscully_ @jasmine_iris_26
@farique_farah you all made the shoot possible and brought life to this project🫶🏽

Open Letters EP launch: @ola.osinoiki
@iam13e @blackcindybird @chiedzauk & Asher
This event was a beautiful one (despite me breaking down when talking about 'Belong'), you all and everyone in attendance held space. That is rare and I'm honoured and grateful to know you all🫂🤍

Much love to everyone 🫂🫶🏽

PS Asher I've been wanting to use this song for ages so aye (I'll use one of the songs from the EP soon, I swear!)
If you're still reading this then thank you and check out the photos and Asher's EP 📢🫡

The blank canvas.
The void.
The nothingness from which anything can emerge.

So many questions run through me since returning to Canada. So I turn to the canvas and meet those questions through art. I turn to the canvas to ground. To acclimatize. To flow. To make meaning. To let the questions breathe.

Like canvas stretched over wood, I open myself again.. to possibility, to something new, to a place I can anchor. This time, I don’t come with a plan or a vision. I come with feeling. With a body that longs to sit upright, heart open, head to the sky.

After years of digital creation, hunched over a screen with a stylus pen, my body is asking for something else. To move with a brush. To let color speak what words cannot.

I’ve always used art as a vessel for healing. Now, I return to it not to figure it all out, but to feel it all through.

Soft and tender under the new moon. 🌑🗝️🌹

Went to an album release party hosted by singer Vanessa Teien where my friends Katrina Anastasia and Natasha Pascale did dance performances and they were great. Vanessa performed and she sounded great. There was a music video premiere and it sounded great and was cool. Saw my best friend Tara Jam and my friends Roxana Jam, Lorelei, Ellie, Oana and a couple of my other friends which was nice. The music sounded great. I liked the songs. The dancing was so great and artistic and magical. Natasha showed and selled her art work and her art looked great and interesting and had a good message. The vibes coming from the event felt really great and filled with great positive energy that made everyone excited, cheering and dancing. Danced a bit myself. I had a great time at the event.
