🚨 𝗧𝗘𝗞𝗖𝗛𝗕𝗜𝗟𝗔 𝗖𝗢𝗡𝗖𝗘𝗥𝗧 𝗔𝗟𝗘𝗥𝗧 🚨 [AR in first comment] ˖ ݁♬⋆ As a special closing event for this edition, we’re summoned once again for a @tekchbilaproject Residency Showcase, bringing together Franco-Congolese DJ, producer and sound curator @tinatornade and @sarah.mazigh , an Amazigh singer-songwriter from the Souss region, for an immersive evening of music, myth and poetry. 🌀 Moving between diasporic sounds, experimental electronic music and contemporary (post-)club culture, Tina Tornade creates sonic landscapes shaped by rhythm, movement and cultural crossings. Sarah Mazigh, meanwhile, draws on the musical heritage of her Amazigh roots, weaving Amazigh songwriting with contemporary influences ranging from jazz-funk to soul. 🎛️ 🌱 At the heart of this encounter lies AKAL — the land: a keeper of memories, source of nourishment, and a force that shapes our identities and sense of belonging. Building on this, the two artists open a dialogue between West African cultural expressions and our own Amazigh context, tracing shared sensibilities around ways of relating to the land. With this residency, Tekchbila seeks to bring West African and Amazigh cosmologies into conversation, while continuing to highlight the inventive ways ancestral cultural heritage shapes contemporary artistic expression. •*¨*•.¸¸♬︎ Harvest Festival Marrakech مهرجان الحصاد فمراكش is so happy to support this residency and showcase within the continued framing of how we enact a duty of care towards cultural and ancestral practices, not only wihtin our borders but also beyond, particularly in this case through pan african and diasporic solidarities. ♡

Ahwach does not need to be frozen in time to remain Amazigh. That idea sits at the center of “AZMZ,” the new release bringing together Tafraout’s all-female Ahwach troupe Bnat Louz and Casablanca experimental duo Raskas. Casablanca label HSS·HSS released the project in September, following several years in which the collaboration developed through performances and Tekchbila residencies. The title “AZMZ” translates roughly as “air of the times” in Amazigh. The music places traditional female choruses and Souss rhythms beside synthesizers, basslines, post-rock textures, and experimental electronics. #bnatlouz #raskas #ahwach #mwnlifestyle #moroccoworldnews

What a way to close a festival! AZMZ, bringing together Bnat Louz and Raskas, transformed the final night of Ethno Port into a celebration filled with warmth, rhythm, and joy. The connection between the performers and the audience was immediate, and before long the entire space felt united by the music, in a way that was both deeply personal and universally welcoming. A beautiful ending to an unforgettable festival. #EthnoPort2026 #AZMZ #BnatLouz #Raskas #ConcertPhotography WorldMusic

Indian producer, sound artist and DJ @noni_mouse reflects on what connects electronic music communities across Casablanca, Delhi and Mumbai, and why the future of club culture may be taking shape far beyond its traditional centres. After spending time with Moroccan collective @ammeformusic in Casablanca, who run the residency @tekchbilaproject, Noni noticed striking similarities between the scenes there and those back home: DIY energy, resourceful communities, artists building their own ecosystems and a shared determination to create despite limited infrastructure and support. While many of these musicians draw inspiration from global electronic music hubs, they’re increasingly forging their own paths, blending club sounds with local traditions, histories and identities. So where does the future of electronic music lie? Special thanks to @bijdicken, @les.aisselles2, @gbw999999, @__3xoj, @anishaaparwani, @oceantiedmusic, and @threeoscillators. A na koncercie zamknięcia 19 edycji FESTIWALU ETHNO PORT wystąpią AZMZ - Ahwach Bnat Louz @tekchbilaproject i Raskas @raskas.official Bez cienia przesady napiszemy krótko: to będzie magiczny koncert! Ahwach to przede wszystkim ucieleśnienie wspólnoty.
