10 things you probably don’t know about me…

1. I’m half Greek. My Dads Mum & Dad are originally from Cyprus, both Greek Cypriot 🇨🇾

2. I competed in athletics for the majority of my childhood and competitive cheerleading through my teens 👯🏽‍♀️

3. I’ve always struggled with body image, some days I feel amazing and other days I really don’t.

4. I have a huge fear of wasps & bees. As soon as one flys near me, I’m off 🐝

5. My first ever job was working in office the shoe shop, the manager bullied me and my dad had to take it to head office and HR 😂

6. I have a fairly big appetite for a female and once Matt challenged me to eat 200g of oats thinking I couldn’t finish the bowl and I did 😂 (I was full for the rest of the day though hahaha)

7. If I won the lottery my dream would be to set up a dog charity and help strays, abandoned or abused dogs have a much better and happier life. All dogs deserve a good life 🐶

8. I often think about what life would be like in a different country and not living in the UK, still haven’t decided if and when we might move away from home 🙈

9. I suck at spelling and might as well be dyslexic 🫣

10. I’ve only been in 2 relationships in my life and one of them is my husband 😂💁🏽‍♀️

Married my bestfriend 💍

Made the most amazing memories on our honeymoon 🇲🇻

Enjoyed lots of family time and memories with Mum & Dad ❤️

My long distance bestie moved home 🥺 (even though she’s still 4 hours from me) 😂 better than a 7 hour flight though

Gyming in cute fits always @oneractive 🤝🏽

Wedding day video had me balling 😭🤍✨

Added to the fur family 🥺🐶

Made the best memories with my besties 🤍

🤍

🤍

Blessed with the best family 🤍

My little bestie forever ✨

Did someone say… something blue 🩵

Plenty of summer evening dates, catch ups and gin & tonics were consumed 🌞

Annual Marbella trip and a hangover from the pirate ship.. a time was had 💃🏽

Random bar crawls around London and stumbling our way home, ell & tel style 🍸

Too many lovely memories to fit all in one post. But it’s been an incredible summer and I’m so grateful for all my amazing family, friends, fur babies & husband 🤍

Ever find yourself saying “when I get to “X” body weight I’ll be happy”

But will you be?

If getting to that certain weight on the scales for you means over restriction, endless cardio, little to no social plans, very little days off…

Because the reality is, sometimes getting to the place you might really want to be with your physique will require a lot of sacrifice.

And for a lot of people that’s not happines and not sustainable.

And I know exactly what that feels like.

I’m all for pushing yourself, your physique and for certain occasions being the right time to be more restrictive and taking your physique to that next level will often require that.

But if you truly just want to find your sweet spot to having a physique you feel proud and confident in, enjoying flexibility, enjoying training and fitness just feeling like a part of your lifestyle rather than it taking over it.

Then you need to set realistic goals and give yourself time to achieve them.

Stop trying to rush the process, extreme dieting, for a short period of time, only gets you so far, until you rebound and end up back at square one.

Build habits, set mini goals, enjoy the journey, earn the flexibility and when you give yourself time to actually work on yourself and implement changes forever, that’s when you find your sweet spot to a physique and lifestyle you’re happy with 🫶🏽
