Happy happy 30th birthday to my awesome sister Sami!! (Posting after midnight, so technically it was yesterday)

I flew to Pennsylvania last month just to say goodbye one last time as she enters as a postulant for the sisters of the Immaculate Heart of Mary. And I hope the sisters there treat you so well because you deserve every ounce of care and love, and I know you are in such good hands.

Sami has always been my biggest advocate. She's stood up for me when I was too broken to do so for myself, she'd answer my calls late at night when I'd be breaking down, and she let me move in with her when I needed out of Grand Forks. Sami has taught me so many things like how to put me and my health above hitting my page requirement on papers, or how to stand up against inequality and mistreatment. I wouldn't have even studied philosophy if it weren't for her encouragement! I truly wouldn't be the person I am today without her.

In fact, Sami was the first family I ever came out too, and if there's anything I learned from Sami it's that with big life changes or personal experiences, only I get to share that part of me with whomever and when ever I want and when I'm safe and comfortable to do so. Sami is the perfect model for what it means to be Catholic. Advocating for human rights, validating and listening to people's experiences without judgement, speaking up when boundaries are crossed, and being honest with such gentleness, accepting and welcoming.

Thank you for being such a great influence on my life. and thank you for validating me for listening to Imagine Dragons and using your music therapist skills to explain that their music is in fact interesting and I don't have to be ashamed for liking them 😂😂😂 @telegram_spam you are destined for so many more great things. Toushi and I love and miss you soooooo much. I'm so happy to call you my sister.

HAPPY BIG TIME RUSH DAY!!!!! today made moving to Duluth worth it. To celebrate this most important holiday, here are my favorite memories. When BTR ended, I called it when I said they'd be back in 10 years. And here they are and just as gorgeous as ever!

So appreciative to get to see them today and so happy they came to Duluth!!

Happy Thanksgiving!!! This also happened to be mine and Sami's first home cooked meal in our new apartment!! It turned out AMAZING. it was my first time making turkey and it turned out so juicy and delicious, AND my first time making a pie from scratch made with love and pumpkins from my parents garden. This year I'm thankful for all my friends who have stuck with me and all their love and support. I appreciate each and everyone of you. And yes even Toushi enjoyed a turkey dish of her own. 😊

Ended my 1st year of college the same way I ended my last 🥺. Seeing the loml skate live in person at Stars on Ice in Minneapolis.
The first pic is from 2018, and the second is from yesterday.

Thank you to my family for the tickets and supporting my love for Nathan Chen all throughout my college journey.

We celebrated @gza_rose graduating by going to see @starsonice in St. Paul! It was amazing!!! @jasonbskates Sinnerman program live is a religious experience. Also, @nathanwchen did a backflip during his Rocketman program.

I finally did it!! There were so many moments these past 5 years that led me to think that graduating wouldn't be possible. This last school year in particular was one of the hardest and I encountered many many obstacles. But I did it! I thank everyone and all my professors for being so understanding, patient, and supportive of me throughout all my struggles and setbacks. I really couldn't have done it without any of you!

Also, so glad I could finally break the family UND curse, out of 7 Rintoul, I am the only one to have actually graduated from here.

Also, the dot above the I in Jeremy Bearimy, is my time at UND.

Also also, so very happy and proud to be a @undphilosophy graduate!!! ❤️❤️❤️
The philosophy department, and English department tbh, really held me together and made my university experience enjoyable!

Love you all, and thank you everyone again for all the support.
