Setting an intention is one of the most powerful practices we can bring into our lives…. In yoga, it is called Sankalpa - a heartfelt vow that aligns us with our deepest truth. In many Native American traditions, prayers and intentions are offered before ceremonies, honoring our connection to the Earth, Spirit, and community. In Mexico, ancestral traditions invite us to create with purpose, whether through an altar, a prayer, or an offering to the elements. In the Sacred Valley of Peru, the Andean people make despachos - beautiful ceremonial offerings woven with gratitude, reciprocity, and intention for Pachamama. Imagine if every action, every word, and every thought carried conscious intention. Imagine the ripple effect that would have on our relationships, our communities, and our world. 🦋🦋🦋🦋 Our dear friend Yulia @yuliaworld shared ancestral wisdom with us before the creation of a mandala, reminding us that every meaningful creation begins with a clear intention. Before a single flower was placed, before a single pattern emerged, there was a prayer, a purpose, and a collective vision. These are the moments that stay with us long after the journey ends. The moments that become memories. The moments that transform us. We cannot wait to return to @samadhisacredvalley the Sacred Valley of Peru, where ancient wisdom still whispers through the mountains and every ceremony invites us to remember what truly matters. ✨ What intention are you carrying in your heart right now? Share it below and let it be witnessed by this community. 🌸💃🌿 #samadhi #intention #womenretreat

I believe in the goodness of people
🌑Once we meet, I trust that your light is stronger than your shadow.
I relate — in every person, I see something of myself. Did I get disappointed? Many times.
Did my heart close? So tight that I had to pry it open again — with a creak. Is it worth betraying one’s own heart because of someone else’s blindness?
Yes, my dear, many will take your kindness for weakness.
But remember: it doesn’t make you weaker — not at all. It’s a big, big challenge to keep walking with an open heart
when bullets are flying all around you.
But a loving heart is the best shield. A gentle reminder:
If you see someone’s heart wide open,
put a flower there.
Don’t use it as a trash bin. Make an effort of love. 📷Photos from a dreamlike women’s retreat in Peru last April —
where I was called to serve a Temazcal and flew across the world, straight from India to the Sacred Valley. I still haven’t told you the story that made my heart blossom.
I promise, I will. 🌸

✨ One moment can split life in two — before and after.
For me, it was late August 2020, in Mexico.
A temazcal — the house of steam, rooted in the traditions of Latin America. Since then, I have stepped into hundreds more.
But that one day in Cobanitas reminded me why I am here, what my mission in this life is — to play the game of chess once again.
It whispered what truly matters — and what is only an illusion. And yet, every day I forget.
Every day I dive into the matrix of daily life.
And every day I fight to remember.
To hold on to what is real.
To create.
To walk with those who choose spirit over matter.
Mind over matter. Today, I choose to turn towards the future.
One day, soon, the house of steam will be open again. Sooner or later comes a moment when we turn back — to our grandparents, parents, our childhood home — and suddenly realize how far we’ve drifted from the very values we’ve been seeking all along: Сегодня я выбираю повернуться в будущее.
Рано или поздно наступает момент, когда мы оборачиваемся назад: на бабушек и дедушек, родителей, родной дом — и вдруг понимаем, как далеко мы ушли от тех ценностей, которые всё это время искали. 🌿 Дом / Home

🇵🇪 The reason I traveled to Peru was to hold space and host a sacred temazcal ceremony at a female retreat of my dear friend The reason I stayed and traveled Mexico for the last 5 years was to learn and immerse myself into the knowledge of temazcal The reason I keep on going is to continue @temazcal_nomad Here is a beautiful poetry by Crying Wind that explains my choices „THE WORLD ON A SILVER PLATTER I’ll give you the world, my son, the world and even more; I’ll give you crime and pollution and poverty and war. Just look at the beautiful cities, my son, the buildings are so high; It’s too bad the smog’s so thick that you can’t see the sky. And see the superhighways, my son, going every-where, And see the powerful cars polluting our clean air. Oh, the wonderful world of science, my son, we’ve made it to the moon No, 1 don’t think it’s true that we’ll all be blown up soon. Isn’t medicine amazing, my son? Now we can nearly cure cancer. I wouldn’t worry about famines; someone will find an answer. Your father and I aren’t rich, my son, but we’ll give you your heart’s desire; It’s the American way to „charge it“ as the cost of living goes higher. All the finest education, my son—learn to read and write. Equal opportunity—it’s too bad you’re half red and half white. You’ll have a war of your own; each generation must have one. Don’t use alcohol or drugs; ignore those who say they’re fun. It’s too bad there’s no wilderness left, no wild animals around, But we’ve killed all the animals and subdivided the ground, Oh, it’s a wonderful world, and I’ll give it to you, my son, And ask but one small thing in return —forgive us for what we’ve done!“#peru #sacredvalley #temazcal #temazcalceremony #temazcaldemujeres #womenretreat #femalepower #travelperu #heal 📷 @saharasaktii

I am a storyteller. And before I tell you how I ended up in Peru straight from India — how much joy it was to facilitate, share sacred altar-making and temazcal practices, to co-create with sisters and friends — let me tell you something dear to my ❤️‍🔥: Five years ago, I had neither the slightest idea nor desire to be involved in sweat-lodge work. Especially not to guide. Not to lead. I loved what I was doing in the art world (still do). I wasn’t searching outside of it. I went to Russian banya almost every week, without thinking twice or attaching spiritual meaning. My mother took me to a banya when she was breastfeeding. It became a habit. That’s it. A common thing. But this story is about how life works — the “coincidences” that shape us. Not a plan. Just happening. In 2020, COVID hit. On a flight back to Berlin, I stopped in Amsterdam, I saw a friend heading to Tulum, he invited me to join. “Not my kind of place,” I thought. I flew home. But the seed was planted. A week later, I was boarding to Mexico. For reasons I still can’t explain, I was denied entry at the border. Spent the night in immigration, during heavy COVID, alone in a room full of men. No food. No water. Full of fear. 8 hours later, I was let in with the words: “Welcome to Mexico.” I arrived disoriented, lost the connection flight and luggage. Had my first panic attack. Booked a hotel inside the airport. Scrolled IG looking for massages in Tulum — just in case. I found someone. A special person. Same day I made it to Tulum. Day 1, I met people who became soul family. More than that. Had my first Temazcal, my first encounter with fire, with the elements, with prayer and plants. Life changed. Little did I know I would return to🇲🇽, stay, travel the desert, experience love, life, death, timetravels, much more.. only 5 years later around the☀️ @temazcal_nomad is born. Today I celebrate all of unexplainable „coincidences“ that led me to where I am and with whom. The next story will be about how all of this lead to a beautiful women retreat in Peru. 🇵🇪 next one in 2026 btw, and please, join us, the big family 🔥 🌕 #peru #temazcal #peruretreat #mexico #womenretreats
