This week, the BANTU Eats Weekly Soup Kitchen held its first service and 60 hungry kids from around CASA BANTU were our first customers. The lugaw (rice porridge) served—as it happens—was prepared by young people who not long ago were themselves on the receiving end of our feeding initiatives. A meal is a small thing and also an enormous one. It helps us meet the goals of reducing the pains of hunger and also of reaching out and getting more kids coming to CASA BANTU. Excited to announce we're planning to do this once a week in different locations (weather permitting) around San Andres Bukid. Message us if you'd like to be involved. 🍲📍
