CHOOSE YOUR HARD 🫶🏻

HYROX 2025 ✨ This one tested me!

This was the hardest fitness challenge I’ve said YES to. Brutal — physically and mentally.

Between balancing work and being a mum, I still showed up when I was exhausted… not easy 😫

Training was messy. Some days I doubted myself, some days I had nothing left but I still showed up. I kept choosing to keep going.

So grateful I got to complete this with my sis, a strong, resilient, powerhouse mama of four @temo_fams

HYROX 2026 prep starts now.

Slowly building, easing back into structure and getting ready to lock in new blocks.

Here I go again 💪

To all the mamas, sometimes you need to:

—> choose you 🤍

—> choose your hard 🤍

POST HYROX BLUES 🏃‍♀️🤸

Still reminiscing to last Saturday.

Our first ever Hyrox event was not about chasing that sub 60 or sub 90 time.

We had our time goal but we didn’t get it on the day and that didn’t matter at all.

The race wasn’t only done on the day, it included all the dedication, effort, commitment and sacrifice we had put it in the last few weeks of training and driving 40minutes to each other on some weekends to have a session together - that mattered!!

But the most important thing was 2 mamas racing infront of our children and hubbys.

They were our motivation to push on when the mind was saying to “quit”

The sound of them cheering on “go mum” and shouting from the side lines hit hard on the day 🥹 even though they were a bit lost not knowing whats the race is about on the day 🤣

This first race is dedicated to our babies - big and small with nothing to prove. It was to show up, do the hard stuff and enjoy the experience.

Thank you to our two families for your support throughout the last couple of weeks while we took time away from you all.

The whole journey and experience is such an adventure. We had an absolutely amazing time!

Will we do it again??? YECK YEAHHHH 💪🏼

This moment!!

Soaking it all in when we finally realised we just finished our toughest, hardest fitness challenge as both mama’s of four.

This was our “thank you Jesus” moment.

Reflecting on all those times we managed to fit in our gym sesh, walks, exercise for the day, runs amongst all that we do in a day!

If you are a mama and been seeing our journey these past weeks, months, no matter where your fitness journey may be, you can do Hyrox. Nothing is impossible.🙌

Make the goal, make time and go for it 💪🏼

To God be the glory ❤️

It’s been awhile…

If you’ve been watching my stories and wondering what’s changed — it’s simple: I said yes to something that’s lighting me up again.

New season 🌺
New energy⚡️

This mama has a huge fitness goal in 4 weeks time and have been focusing some of my “me” time in training my body & mind prepare for the event and at the same time sacrificing things that doesn’t fit in this space..

I am still here sharing what I love, the laughs and all mama related things…

So hola at me and don’t be a stranger, this mama doesn’t bite 🤪

Drove to Point Cook today to train with my sis. This mama has been resting this week and back to the gym with a sweaty Cardio sesh woooweeee it was spicy 🌶️ 🥵

Always love the encouragement and gentle push from the coaches at the BFT gyms but top it off was my sis cheering me on ❤️

20 seconds rest
REPEAT for 7 rounds
Than swap with your partner

Heart rates were HIGH, proud of our efforts today, gold effort for both of us mamas 🤙🏼🏅

OMG only 11 weeks left till our first ever Hyrox event! The nerves are definitely here….YIKES!!! 😬

These past 2 days have been special.
Wed the 3rd, Shane and I had the blessing of attending the temple endowment of our niece, our nephew and our nephews wife.
A special time when gifts from Heavenly Father are given to those are ready to recieve.
Some of these gifts include;

Greater knowledge of the Lord’s purposes and teachings.

Power to do all that God wants us to do.

Divine guidance and protection as we serve the Lord, our families, and others.

Increased hope, comfort, and peace.

On Thursday the 4th of September, we attended the Celestial Marriage of our nephew and his wife. A marriage where their union transcends beyond the grave and into the eternities.

Immediately following the wedding ceremony, their family were sealed as an eternal family by one who has authority to do so.
What does this mean you may ask?

It means their family relationships as husband, wife, mother, father, sons become eternal relationships, not just for mortality.

A beautiful blessing that motivates me every day to do that which Heavenly Father would have me do.

I know that The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints is true. I know that God lives and loves us. I know that Jesus is our Savior and that he loves us too. I know that Families can be together forever through Heavenly Fathers plan. I know that temples are sacred places where we all can recieve these blessings which give life meaning, purpose and direction. My testimony I leave with you all in the name of Jesus Christ amen💜

HYROX TRAINING 🥵

If you haven’t heard…this mama is doing something crazy in December and I am very excited to challenge this mama bod and strength in completing my first ever Hyrox event in Melbourne. I am participating in the Womens Double with another beautiful mama @temo_fams12 ….yes mama’s can definitely do this 💪🏼

It’s getting a lil bit serious…

I’m loving how my body is adapting to the new norm, sweating out and doing the work!

Not chasing perfection but just progress and being better than yesterday..

Learning all the techniques and trying to be better at it!

….to be continued!

ps: sorry folks it’s a bit tricky being your own camera 🎥 person & train the same time 🤪

Feeling back at my happy place taking one step at a time . Started up yesterday..like legit! No much arounds 😬The Goal is feeling good, moving daily, eating better and making conscious habits like water intake, eating small proportions 🫣 and watching my snacking habits lol

Health is wealth , I realise that the more older I get and especially the more children I’ve had, your body takes a toll each time.

Time to get back to what I love and miss. One day and one step at a time . Just a mama getting back to running again 🏃🏻‍♀️😊✌️

5 months postpartum 😬✌️🏃🏻‍♀️
