Dinner at @restaurant.dandelion in Paris! On my first night in Paris, we had dinner at Dandelion. Dandelion had been on my list ever since I saw Asian-Australian-super-chef-in-Paris @hanzgueco post about them a few years ago. When @claricinha70 suggested it, it was an enthusiastic yes from me! Dandelion is a cosy and very cool restaurant in the 20ème. The vibe is intimate and relaxed, and the food was creative without being intimidating. I feel it would be a very cool venue for a date night, or a great place to go with seriously foodie friends to enjoy delicious food. 🍸👯‍♀️🍸 Everything was great, but a special shout out for the Sicilian mango sorbet dessert - the mango sorbet was super smooth and had a lovely pure flavour, the meringue was shatteringly crisp and dissolved on the tongue. So good! But what really made it stand out was the grilled-rice-infused-cream. The flavour was so intriguing and unusual, tasting a bit like genmaicha. Honestly a perfect dessert. Here is what we ate! 🍸 Dirty martinis 🦪 No. 3 Fine de Claire oysters with elderberry vinegar 🍞 Bread by @tenbelles 🍄‍🟫 Cavatelli with chanterelle mushrooms & amontillado sauce 🦑 Line caught squid, Vadouvan jus, lardo and Paimpol coconut, served with the most delicious beans 🍮 Choux puff in the Tropézienne style (with orange blossom infused cream) 🥭 Sicilian mango sorbet, meringue with a cream infused with grilled rice #sarahcooksblog #DandelionParis #ParisRestaurants #ParisDining #ParisEats

I gave myself permission to wander and explore by myself while we lived in Paris and somewhere in the wandering, I found more of myself. Here are a few ideas for moms in Paris or visiting Paris- things to do, see, eat and explore this fall.
