POSTS STORIES REELS TAGGED

Have you ever taken a break and realised just how much you needed it? 🇵🇹🐬💛

Portugal remains one of my favourite trips not only because I travelled with my boys, but because it gave me the opportunity to slow down, recharge and simply enjoy being present with them.

One of the most unforgettable moments was getting into the water with a dolphin. I was excited, slightly nervous and completely outside my normal routine but I said yes to the experience! 😂🐬

That moment reminded me that life is not only about responsibilities, deadlines and constantly doing more. Sometimes, we need to step away from the noise long enough to breathe, reconnect and take stock of where we are.

Portugal taught me:

• Rest is not laziness; it is part of recharging.
• Being present creates memories that busyness cannot replace.
• New experiences help us discover courage we did not know we had.
• Growth can happen when we pause and reflect—not only when we are working.
• Time with the people we love is never wasted.

I returned with more than photographs. I came back refreshed, grateful and with a renewed perspective on life.

And yes sometimes the lesson comes through a quiet moment of reflection, and sometimes it comes through saying yes to swimming with a dolphin! 🐬

Some of the best learning really does happen beyond the classroom. ✨

Tendai’s story, inspired by Chapter 10 of Beyond the Classroom: Learning Through Experiences.

Throwback Thursday… 💭✨
Have you ever stopped to ask yourself: “Am I truly investing enough in becoming the person and leader my vision requires me to be?”

Looking back on my time at the Life Series with Mrs @ibukunawosika thanks to @ojatribe , I’m reminded that growth is never accidental, it is intentional for me and my business.

The insights on personal development, leadership, and building a stronger business mindset were powerful reminders that as entrepreneurs, our greatest asset is ourselves.

It was a privilege to share this experience alongside @abithehost @tendai_annah @alpha_childcare @nissi.foods @lorraine_gbadegesin who are committed to learning, evolving, and moving to the next level. The right environment, the right conversations, and the right mindset can transform the journey.

Still learning. Still growing. Still building. 🚀

I’ve taken the last week to quietly reflect.

To sit with every conversation.
Every prayer.
Every hug.
Every testimony.
Every message that’s been sent since.

And I keep coming back to one thing…
God did exactly what He intended to do.
Called First was never about hosting a beautiful brunch.

It was about creating a space where women could remember who they are. Where healing wasn’t the destination…
authority was.

Watching firstborn and eldest daughters worship together, laugh together, cry together, encourage one another and simply be reminded me why this vision was placed on my heart.

To every woman who trusted us with your Saturday…
thank you. To every volunteer, speaker, supplier and every person who prayed behind the scenes…
thank you.

This wasn’t the finish line.
It was the beginning.

Called First is becoming more than an event.
It’s becoming a community.

And I cannot wait to see what God does next. 🤍

Community Champion Award @womenleadersuk 💛

Still taking it all in…..

This award means so much because while I’m out building communities, my little family is often the one waiting for me to come home.

@surajgargclicks, thank you for always believing in me and holding everything together so I can keep doing this work. And to my twins - this award is for you. ❤️

Thank you Sarah Thorne and Lisa MacDonald for your hospitality and recognising this journey. And thank you @abbeyhillgc for treating us to a family golf adventure - we can’t wait to make some wonderful memories together!

One of my favourite moments was the ‘Confident Star’ led by @ifethomas. Every finalist was invited to stand and be celebrated by the audience and VIPs. I’ve never experienced anything like that at an awards event, and it made every finalists feel truly valued. ✨

The Women Leaders Awards really are something special - bringing together some of the most inspiring and passionate people across Milton Keynes and Buckinghamshire.

This recognition belongs to every participant, volunteer, partner, friend and supporter who has been part of this journey. We did this together. 💛

Having experienced the realities of loneliness and isolation while building a career abroad, Tendai transformed those challenges into a movement that reminds people they never have to navigate life alone. Inspired by the remarkable resilience of penguins, Penguin Village has become a thriving community centred on belonging, wellbeing, authentic connection, and compassionate leadership.

Through Penguin Village Huddles and Penguin Wellbeing Walks, she continues to create spaces where meaningful conversations flourish, relationships are strengthened, and communities come together to support both personal wellbeing and important social causes.

As an internationally sought-after speaker, Tendai challenges audiences to redefine leadership—not as authority or position, but as the courage to create environments where people feel seen, valued, and empowered to thrive.

Her story reminds us that true leadership is measured not only by professional success, but by the lives we uplift, the communities we build, and the hope we leave behind.

At Legacy Women, we proudly celebrate women like Tendai Annah, whose influence extends far beyond their professions to inspire lasting change across generations.
"The most enduring legacy is not what we achieve for ourselves, but the lives we transform by helping others believe they belong."
