We are so excited to be putting on a mixed evening of performance and jamming!
We'll kick the night off with some original music sets, invite some guests onstage and then end the night with a jamming session 🔥

Formed in London, UK in 2011 by a group of passionate expats from the Salento, Amaraterra has grown into a multi-national ensemble, presenting its audience with a joyful and energetic selection of pizzica and roots music from all over the south of Italy, and adapting its style of music to the vibrant and cosmopolitan world music scene without weakening the links to its traditional musical canon.

Thank you to everyone who attended and was involved in our fifth Markfield Road Festival this year - we loved every moment!

This year we saw 7,800+ attendees across all venues Friday to Sunday, maintaining our highest number of guests since last year. We had 185+ local artists and creatives showcasing their work across our 8 venues and 46 events throughout the festival.

We are a community-run festival organised by locals for locals, funded entirely by income generated during the festival. If you’d like to support us, please donate via the link in our bio. Anything you can contribute will be greatly appreciated and allows us to keep returning year after year.
