On Friday 18 September we have not 1, not 2, but 3 of the hottest acts around rocking the @jaminajarbar live room.

@chico_majara tore the roof off when they played back in May. They make a triumphant return playing a heady combination of tropical Latin punk.

@laschanchas_cumbia are now firm crowd favourites in north London and further afield. Fresh from a summer of festivals and about to embark on their first European dates, don’t miss your chance to catch the cumbia power trio do their thing.

@lou__pino will keep you moving until the early hours with his limitless selection of 7 inch classics. Charge up your dancing shoes ready for a work out!

Free entry (crazy, we know), great acts, good vibes. Jam In A Jar has your weekend starting right.

After the success of our first event, we are BACK for the 2nd edition of our open decks and DJ social club at Jam in a Jar, N8 0RE 🎧🎶🎤🎛️🎚️

Whether you’re a veteran in the scene or just starting out: you are invited! Event will run on Wednesday 30th September, from 6pm-12pm.

For DJs interested in playing: Bring along your USB sticks and headphones with jack adapter, and sign up on the night from 5:30pm. Setup is an all-in-one XDJ-RX2 System (two channels.) All genres welcome, but we recommend mixing according to the audience and your 30 minute time slot which will be decided on the night! Treat the gear and space with respect 🎶

SAVE TEN TO ONE

We are super excited to announce that @_tawai_music will be supporting @laschanchas_cumbia at the @tentoonebar fundraiser this Saturday 5 September. An incredible multilingual performer who entranced the crowd when he played at @jaminajarbar earlier this year. Do not miss out on this one.

Free entry, donations to the Save Ten to One Crowdfunder encouraged. Let’s keep the dream of grass roots live music venues alive.

SAVE TEN TO ONE - KEEP THE DREAM ALIVE

If there’s a band that embodies the dream of @tentoonebar it’s @laschanchas_cumbia. We are honoured to welcome them back for a very special fundraising gig at Ten to One (276 Philip Lane, London, N15 4AD) on Saturday 5 September. Supporting on the night will be the incredible @_tawai_music.

Playing their first ever gig at the bar just 18 months ago, Las Chanchas have been lighting up the live music scene with their spin on psychedelic cumbia ever since. 2026 has seen them hit the festivals and venues around the UK, building their fan base with their infectious cumbia sounds as they go.

The team at Ten to One have been there to support their journey. Some of the highlights include:
* Recording their debut music videos in the back room at the bar
* Headlining the main stage at @markfieldroadfestival 2025
* Playing to packed houses at Ten to One and our sister venue @jaminajarbar (and they’ll be back there real soon too)

Do not miss this opportunity to see one of the hottest new bands around in the unique venue where their live music story started.

By coming down you are supporting not only the band, but the ecosystem of grass roots live music venues that provide opportunities to bands to start out. Your continued support is massively appreciated.

Donations to the Save Ten to One Crowdfunder (link in bio) are welcomed.
