A realization I’ve had (and must remind myself constantly, especially in difficult times) is that it’s not about the auspices that bless our life; but rather how receptive we are to them. Everything always boils down to the choices we make in life. We choose to either focus our energy on scarcity which roots our belief system in fear; or we choose to focus our energy on abundance and love which elevates our vibrations and roots our belief system in the field of infinite possibilities.
We are offered a chance to reset, an opportunity to renew, to reconnect and rebuild for a brighter future. Sometimes, we are even offered the chance to completely change the course of our life through people who are willing and happy to help us become more than we are, so we can have more in life. Yet, we close doors on beautiful experiences, connections and blessings all the time. Why? Do we fear the unknown, believe most people are self-serving and accept that success comes at cost we aren’t willing to pay? We may need to check where these filters and thought patterns come from... are they: patterns learned from our upbringing, perspectives and viewpoints acquired through conditioning of society, or pieces of advice from people who mean well, but do not have fruit on the tree?

How will we show up in the world, once we adopt our new normal? Life as we know it has already changed. It is up to us to choose to reinvent ourselves amidst times of intense disruption. I don’t know about you, but I choose to take ownership of my future by constantly recalibrating my thought processes, and be receptive to an auspicious life. Why? *WARNING GRAFIC CONTENT* this is why I don’t use filters. Yes I have fluff, my skin isn’t flawless, I don’t airbrush or edit my less than tight tata’s. Last year, I went through a horrible time in my life. Everything in my world crashed without warning but I had to put a smile on my face n just get through. stress took away my appetite. I dropped 14lbs in 1 month. Initially I liked the weight loss which is why I was comfortable taking pics I usually wouldn’t post. At first I got compliments but those turned into concern. My hair started to break off, my skin was turning gray. My body finally gave out at work and I had a seizure. I’m not prone to them, not in my family history, I was broken n my body said enough, get right. I’m no where near healed, but I’ve done what I have to do to get to a healthy spot, so I wear my rolls proudly because no shame in my game. My point is TAKE CARE OF YOURSELF FIRST and in this digital age we live in, it’s easy to point out someone’s flaws, but it’s better to see something real. Life can be beautiful or tragic, n we make it what we want, I choose to show who I really am, flaws and all🌺💛 photo @teohinui
