These are two of my most favourite things from this Xmas. A beautiful hand painted bauble with characters from Snowflakes and Secrets in the Scottish Highlands on (thank you @juleswakeauthor) and a winter solstice decoration to remind me we are now on the countdown to spring (thanks @tessafterall). I love them so much I think I’ll keep them in my office all year round ❤️❤️❤️

Marvelous Mandalas from today's #makeamandala @theforumnorwich it was such a great drop in session, and lovely to finally meet you @tessafterall your mandala is mega massively inspiring! 😍 thanks for your magic circle knowledge share 👍 . . One of the things I loved about today was this sharing aspect between beginners and more experienced crocheters, it was really inspiring, so thankyou all for coming down to join in the start of our mandala installation on this first day of makers month . . I will be in the forum again on Wednesday from 10-1pm as part of @makersmonth if you'd like to join me to start creating your own mandala to add to a large collaborative installation? •

Thanks for tagging me @hellomooncrochet This is a bit hard. I'm not the most interesting person but like reading about everyone else. Here goes!

1. My name is Lynn or Lynny to most people.
2. I'm 50... until Saturday!
3. I've lived in Cornwall for 25 years but grew up in Lancashire and spent 7 years in Gloucestershire.
4. I met my husband whilst doing my degree in Cheltenham. We have been together for 32 years and will have been married for 25 in August.
5. We have a little man called Joe who will be 4 on Sunday.
6. I've always loved animals and gave rescued lots of them! We currently have 1 dog, 4 cats and 9 chickens.
7. I met my best friend @puddy_pud_pud on our first day at school. She lives miles away and we don't see each other very often. But she is the best and no one makes me laugh like she does!
8. I've always been artistic and can remember (trying!) to make things from being very tiny. If I don't do something creative every day, I don't feel right.
9. I've been a strict vegetarian since I was 17.
10. I love cooking & baking.
11. I'm a dedicated tea drinker. Earl grey is my cup of choice.
12. I love nature and gardening and like to spend as much time outside as possible.
13. I love books... Have so many that we need bookcases in every room.
14. I'm addicted to radio 4 and have listened to The Archers for as long as I can remember.
15. I taught myself to crochet 6 years ago after losing my Mum. I needed something to occupy me and keep my mind still. It is absolutely the best thing I have ever learnt to do.
16. My favourite range of colours are purples and berry shades.
17. @puddy_pud_pud and I interviewed our favourite band at the time, The Beat, when we were about 14. We pretended that we wrote a fanzine and were blown away when they granted our wish. It was hilarious. They obviously saw straight through us but were lovely.
18 We won a VW beetle in a competition!
19. I'm a glass half full kind of person.
20. I am rubbish at keeping still. I like to pack lots of things into my days. Crochet is great for being able to still be able to do something whilst I'm relaxing in the evening.
I've tagged a few peeps. Please don't feel obliged to join in! x
