Day 2 with the @tackleshack.atx boys was a success! I got to reel in the first fish of the day which ended up being a 42-7🤘🏻

Mason and Andrew got their first intentional buffalo catches. We also got some sick footage for the shop’s YouTube channel being released soon

You just can’t beat spreading the love of buffalo fishing to other serious anglers. It’s a buzz that just doesn’t go away! The fishing is great right now, get those trips booked for the fall season!🔥

642. Smallmouth Buffalo (Ictiobus bubalus)

It’s always satisfying crossing off one of these larger native suckers, especially since they don’t get nearly as much attention as they deserve.

Had an awesome session a few days ago with the lads! @carpandcars @texascarpguide Was a really fun, chill session. Got burnt to shit 🌞We got tons of bites and the highlight of the day was the double up on smallmouth buffalos both were ~25 lbs 🦬 Icing on the cake was Nick getting a cool mirror and his first here in Texas!

It was really nice to look forward to a day of catching up, laughing, relaxing, and pulling in fish ofc. Mission accomplished on all fronts 💯

Leaving for Germany 🇩🇪 soon! Will have updates over the next few weeks.

What an epic trip it was getting out to Austin Texas fishing with the one and only @texascarpguide. Here’s a proper look at the big queen and everything else. We had a blast fishing hard and making stupid songs for 3 days. Highly recommended to anyone ! Get out to Texas and get on some fatties!

Took a while but finally got a picture worthy moment on the bank with @thatcarpguy Great times on the bank yesterday with over 25 fish landed. And despite how it looks his was in fact bigger 😂👍

Big thanks to @texascarpguide for getting us on the fish as always
