My Day 12 economy block for Quilt Blocktober with @textileoutpost
Day 12 theme was mountain and this one I really struggled with. I could not find anything in my stash with a mountain so I went with the next best thing....que my piece of Happy Hills.
Now I know this isn't quite the brief but close enough right? 🙈

My Day 11 economy block for Quilt Blocktober with @textileoutpost
The theme for Day 11 was cosy so I decided to do a cosy cottage and I just love it!
Hopefully this weekend I can catch back up! I have had a sick tiny human this past week so not much sewing has been happening 😔

I'm playing a bit of catch up with my blocks this week. This is Day 8 of Quilt Blocktober with @textileoutpost
Day 8's theme was fire. I couldn't find a piece in my stash with fire but I thought this piece looked a bit like flames.

Here's my Day 2 block for Quilt Blocktober with @textileoutpost
The theme for Day 2 was leaves. I'm really enjoying making these blocks and raiding my scrap bin. I wasn't sure about the green around the edges initially but it's growing on me.
I'll be posting Day 3 later this afternoon.

This month I'm taking part in Quilt Blocktober with @textileoutpost
The aim is to sew one economy block each day in October in any method.

I've decided to do traditionally pieced blocks because I have never tried that before.
So here is my day one (a little late) the theme was fruit so I picked strawberries.
For my very first pieced economy block I'm pretty happy with how it turned out.
