We see you 🩷 the determination and commitment towards your goals. Many of you are working towards your Hyrox Race in Vancouver in December - and can’t wait to cheer you on.

For the second year, we will once again be sending Monica to film our TFA Hyrox Crew race in Vancouver. If you want to be part of the MONTAGE films please follow @mhnecha and send your interest by DM to her (so a filming schedule can be organized)

Why do I train? How did I get involved with TFA, and why am I here?

I hired Rob as my PT - when he was running his training business called “Sustainability Fit” out of TFA. I was getting so fatigued as an extremely busy Real Estate Videographer. The first thing he asked me was to show him how I carry my gear (and how much I had of it)

I still remember his assessment and giving me such great training. I don’t think I ever told him this - but the dynamic sports videographer I am now is because of him. He gave me the fundamental tools to be more active in my old age - and he satisfied my craving to learn more and more.

When he decided to grow the TFA community - I felt a place I could be myself. But more importantly, when we had conflicts - we grew together in a space that allowed it. Only family can grow through downs and ups - unconditionally.

Someone recently asked me “why are you taking Hyrox classes? What are your goals?” I laughed because that’s the same kind of comments I get when people see my run after athletes while carrying a heavy camera gimbal. “Oh you are getting a workout too” 😝

“I love what I do”. The coaches and athletes I surround myself with keep me aging gracefully at 50yo.

When I’m ready to do a 50AG Hyrox solo. Watch out.

I get asked a lot.
How do you do it? Aren’t you tired? Do you sleep?
The answer is I don’t know, yes I’m tired, and not enough.
I think if we truly want to do something we will.
It’s slow progress, not perfection. We busy. We tired. But we SHOW UP. Now time to go live part 2 of 4 today 😂🫣🥱
Also behind the scenes I cannot thank my friends enough. Not just for the support but for all the rides 😅🫣 love you @sammycowden

TF45 2.0 Team : Laura + Megan

With Laura’s partner having to pull out a week before the race - a new team was born. Watching their support and care for each other was one of the emotional highlights of the race.
