🎃👻 A little Halloween magic, a whole lot of heart. 🧡 There’s nothing sweeter than seeing the excitement on a child’s face when they find the costume that makes them feel like anything is possible. Every little princess, superhero, dinosaur, and tiny witch deserves that magic. ✨ Our Halloween Costume Drive was more than costumes. It’s about community, kindness, and making sure every child gets to experience the joy of dressing up, making memories, and being exactly who they want to be for a night. 🖤 Thank you to everyone who donated, shared, and showed up with so much love. It takes a village, and we’re so grateful to be part of one that cares so deeply. Way to make a little magic, Denver. One costume, one smile, and one very special Halloween at a time. 🍬🧡 #MonarchGivesBack #HalloweenCostumeDrive #CommunityOverEverything #DenverCommunity

On September 17th, I will share my story through two artworks donated for auction and for the first time reading my poetry out loud to a crowd. We are celebrating 40 years of creating a community where no one has to face life's challenges alone......The Gathering Place is celebrating 40 years of providing safety, support, and hope to women, gender-expansive people, and their children experiencing poverty and homelessness in Denver. This unforgettable event will bring together 250 community members, partners, artists, and advocates for a night including: Dinner and drinks Art exhibition Silent auction featuring art and more Stories of resilience, hope, and community Grab your tickets at the link below https://tgpdenver.org/donate/the-art-of-hope.html Poem: Unfathomable Eckseptionz Tenacity of Resilience Mixed Media Painting Tenacity of Resilience explores the unwavering human capacity to heal, adapt, and continue forward despite adversity. It reflects a mindset that refuses to become exhausted by setbacks, failures, or repeated challenges. Rather than viewing hardship as an ending, this work recognizes it as part of an ongoing process of transformation. Through layers of endurance, adaptation, and renewal, this piece serves as a reminder that resilience is not a single act of courage, but it is the persistent force within us that chooses growth over surrender, possibility over defeat, and hope over exhaustion. Vulnerable Truth Stained Pyrography Vulnerable Truth explores the courage it takes to place our authentic selves in the hands of others. Every act of honesty carries risk, we cannot control whether our stories will be embraced with understanding or reshaped through someone else's perception. Yet vulnerability remains a powerful act of strength. Through personal experiences of both acceptance and rejection, I have learned that hope lives within the willingness to keep showing up as myself. Beyond discomfort and uncertainty are opportunities for connection, growth, and belonging. This piece is a reminder that vulnerability is not weakness; it is an act of hope, a belief that being true to ourselves is worth the risk.
