POSTS STORIES REELS TAGGED

This custom single-storey had the Rohanz Carpentry crew involved from the ground up — literally. @that_house_building trusting us with full control.
Starting with what was left of the existing home, before bringing in our excavator for the earthworks and getting the new build underway.
From there:
Earthworks
Stumps & subfloor
Wall framing
Structural steel installation
Roof trusses and Top hats for them
Scissor trusses forming the raked ceilings
Plenty of different stages, detail and coordination went into bringing this one together.
It’s always satisfying being involved from the early stages and watching a project transform from an existing home and bare ground into a completely new structure.
The scissor trusses and raked ceilings really give this home its character and make the end result something special.
A great job by the crew and another custom build we’re proud to have our name on.
Swipe through the stages to see where we started and how it all came together.

The best design trends for 2026 and beyond.

Hear me out.

Trends are flocking feeds with ‘do this, oh I would never do that’ etc etc etc. It can be overwhelming.

My advice (if you want it 😂) We all like to get a bit of inspiration but at the core of it all, listen to yourself, what works and fits your home!

Anything you are confident in will automatically filter to everyone else no matter what it looks like! I mean not that it matters AT ALL what other opinions are, but I think we are all guilty of comparing the pair.

Be yourself and the results will be perfect because it’s perfect for you.

I don’t tend to follow trends, of course I get some inspo but I always make sure the design reflects my end goal. I’ll only ever tweak if the end goal doesn’t suit functionality/practicality, but not because insta told me to.

THE END.

Thought I’d post a bit of info about our pool for anyone that is interested 😂

I knew I didn’t want to have a complete neutral colour palette so I stepped out of my comfort zone and picked checkerboard tiles. I have zero regrets I absolutely adore how it’s turned out. They’re not for everyone, but they’re for me 😂

Pool: @summertime.pools colour is sparkling grey
Tiles: @tiento_tiles colour Terracreta Chamotte and Terracreta Marna layed by @ljx_tiling
Pool fence: @dalyglassco

Special thanks to my darlin husband for allowing me to be a little different with this 🤪

Anyone questions please ask away 😊

Gotta love him, always starting a new project just to keep adding to the long list of things to do.

We hope everyone had a fun silly season celebrating with loved ones 💫

What our day looked like - Work, play, swim and repeat ⛳️

Space is coming along and we couldn’t feel happier (or luckier)

Fletch said right before his shot (which was his first putt on the green) ‘Dad you owe me 5 bucks if this goes in…’

It really shows your age when you get so much joy out of gardening 😂

So impressed with our ‘new garden’ - I wasn’t sure if it would survive the cold winter we had but it’s pushed through and showing the goods 🌞 🌼

I’m currently sowing some more seeds and will also try my luck storing seeds of our annual plants once they’ve died off for the season. Greenhouse here we come 💖💖 (just another job for you darl @that_house_building sorry)

Also special mention to Jarrod for our recycled brick garden edging, it looks incredible 🥹
