A beautiful day at @imenmcdonnell Printmaker’s Brunch at @thatchedfarmproject with artist @claire_forward_artist and food by @a_bouchier and @imenmcdonnell

Throughly enjoyed learning about cyanotype printing. It reminded me of my darkroom days so many years ago. Good company, good food and an amazing location.

Come to Ireland and/or Paris this fall! I’ve dreamt up these trips with my friend, @stephaniemarch and the team at @piquetravel, and we’ve really outdone ourselves this time!
Our last tour in Paris was everything we hoped and more, so we want to do it again. The food, the baking (we’ve added a bread class to the mix), wine, pastry shops, museums, Stephanie’s obsession with the perfect sandwich, markets, more pastry, plus time to hang out with other curious travelers in the most beautiful city. ♥️

☘️There’s more…If you want a truly magical experience, unlike anything else you’ve seen, then join us in Ireland for a week of Castles, Cottages and Cookery! We will be baking and churning butter in our own private castle, sipping whiskey & falconry (maybe not in that order), High Tea in a manor, a Michelin⭐️ lunch on the way to an ancient castle, a baking class at my favorite cookery school, a wood-fired feast in a 14th century thatch barn, and, of course, sharing a pint or two.

Comment “Ireland” or “Paris” and we will DM you a link to all the details and how to sign up. Come alone and meet new people or grab your bestie, sister, mom or cousins and join us! We can’t wait to travel with you! Tag someone you want to travel with! ♥️💚

Enchanted travel thanks to some friends!

Living in rural Ireland for the past five years has had its ups and downs. It doesn’t feel like a place you live. It feels like a place you’ve wandered into.

A place that exists slightly outside of time.

The roads are narrow and winding, lined with hedges that lean inward like they’re listening to your thoughts. The stone walls are everywhere—grey, moss-covered, built by hands that are long gone but still present in the landscape.

And the houses… the houses look like they belong in fairytales. Thatched cottages with smoke curling from chimneys. Old farmhouses with windows that glow golden at dusk.

Doors painted pink, bright red or ocean blue, standing out against the green like a little act of rebellion.

Every home feels like it has a story.

I am so thankful to be part of a place that can feel cold, harsh and gray a lot of the time but inside there is so much connection, collaboration, thought and feeling. A sense of community. People that are kind to each other.

Thank you @i.p.p.v.a for the award of Architecture & Interiors Photographer of the Year 2026. And for the kind messages of congrats from so many in the community.
