The Loft- Bombay, India
Our second project for these amazing clients was in Bombay. We had designed a small villa for them in Goa and were then asked to design this gorgeous apartment space. The whole experience from design presentation to final handover was just a smooth seamless process #loft #loftinterior #interiordesign

🚨 From Prototype to Purpose

In the final video of our essay series, we unpack the story of a STEM applicant who didn’t just talk about innovation — he lived it.

His essay? A compelling narrative about building a women’s safety device and testing it in his apartment block. It was practical, personal, and powerful.

🔧 Real impact > big claims.

🎯 Save this tip for your essay. It might just be your differentiator.

Ashley Madison, a Netflix documentary on this dating site’s Sex, Lies & Scandal

This is a documentary about the 2015 expose of the ‘cheating’ website Ashley Madison. This website for married people to discreetly have affairs was blown to bits when a hacker The Impact Team not only hacked into it but also released confidential data of its 37 million users from the US and around the world! The unsavoury and unethical methods of the CEO Noel were also exposed. The documentary gets a user whose marriage nearly unravels after the expose, to spill the beans. A well-made, taut documentary of just four episodes. A must-watch.

Bridgerton Season 3 is here and the focus is on the Penelope-Colin romance, going by the rather unattractive moniker of ‘Polin’. Part 1 with four episodes is streaming now and Part 2 slated is for a June 13 release.
So, how do we like it so far? While the initial chemistry between the ‘friends’ is tepid, it’s picking up, er, steam. We do have major hope even if the boots they have to fill (aka Duke Hastings-Daphne and Anthony-Kate) are rather large! Watch it folks!

One of our favorite activities while traveling is discovering new libraries, and we stumbled upon a charming one at Banyan Tree, Koh Samui. Its dark wooden interiors, bathed in soft natural light streaming through the large glass windows, immediately captivated us. The sight of neatly arranged books and the scent of aged paper felt both familiar and inviting as we stepped inside. Finding a cozy corner with cushioned chairs and leafing through well-thumbed volumes was where we felt most at home during our visit!

Cheers to all kinds of love stories!

Red, White and Royal Blue (Amazon Prime) & One Day (Netflix) - Two unusual romances to watch this week!

Red, White and Royal Blue is about the simmering attraction between the son of the US President and a British Royal a lot like Prince Harry! It’s a witty romance which will take your breath away!
The series One Day is about a seriously long friendship between an Indian origin British girl and a white and seriously charming British guy who meet in university, become best of friends and much more as life goes on. But be warned, this is a tearjerker!

@bizza.mumbai

We recently had lunch at Bizza. It’s a cute restaurant by the people behind Bastian and is located on a lane off Linking Road, Bandra. The restaurant can be a bit of a challenge to locate even with Google maps, so then you hope it’s worth the trouble. And in parts, it was!
To begin with we ordered the burrata salad with burrata cheese, rustic pesto, heirloom tomatoes, arugula, balsamic caramelised onions and candied nuts, which was quite nice. Next we had the spicy avocado pizza…three words we love but in this case, not the pizza. The pepperoni pizza was nice though, however the wild mushroom pizza with truffle foam looked insane (we will taste it the next time)! The oven baked pappardelle was quite interesting, it’s a home-made pappardelle pasta, parma tomato sauce, burrata, fresh basil & parmesan cheese.
To summarise we liked some dishes and others we could have given a pass. Perhaps we had higher expectations from the people behind Bastian. Having said that the service and the quality of ingredients were top-notch. We do want to give it another try. Soon!
