Little family trip to the zoo! Had to see my favorite enclosure, the Meerkats! And seriously bonded with one specific sting ray. Hays got to see a real live fox for the first time, he was so excited.

SEPTEMBER. Childhood cancer awareness month.

Though it seems that no matter how much awareness we raise nothing changes. This disease that is still so unexplained robbed me of my son and so many mothers of theirs. There is so much to be done that can be done to stop this disease and for whatever reason it’s left undone.

Neuroblastoma is still a tremendous mystery in its origin and sadly it usually starts in infants and the prognosis is very poor. In my son’s case he was diagnosed at 2 years old with stage 4 high risk neuroblastoma. It had spread to his entire body. He had only just started showing symptoms that month when it was already too late. Though I’m grateful for the blissful 2 years I had with him, unaware of his fate, I’m still so hateful that there was no way to detect this sooner. He fought as hard as he could, we were only given 6 more months with our angel.

We need to do more. No matter what that looks like, more for the families, more for the children, more for research. Just more.

2026 Phoenix Rising is officially in the books! 🤍 What a weekend!

It was so much fun getting to see everyone, reconnect with familiar faces and meet so many new people! This season has truly been an incredible experience and I’m so grateful for every show, every opportunity, and every person who has been a part of it. 🤗

As for what’s next… honestly I have NO idea 🤪 Maybe I’ll prep for another show… maybe I’ll finally head into the offseason. I’m still very much up in the air on this one!

But regardless of what I decide, I’m incredibly proud of this season and everything that came with it. The support, kindness, and encouragement I’ve received along the way has meant more than you know.

Thank you all for cheering me on and supporting me this far. ❤️ Now we’ll see what’s next! 🫶🏼

Daily actions are more important than the speed of which you get to your goal. Focus on prioritizing, checking boxes each day, putting effort into the important things that truly matter, and you will find yourself reaching your goals.

Your eyes can get tired and lose sight when you’re focused on long term goals, focus on what you can do RIGHT. NOW. Avoiding distractions will become easier by default when you’re too busy doing the right thing.

And just a tip, when I say focus on what truly matters, don’t forget the most important thing, your family. It should always come first in all things. Mine just happens to be my biggest supporters. And I thank God for that.

Shout out to the crazy pump I got at @east_valley_strength the equipment had me feeling like I was back at Ft. Campbell. Seriously can’t find equipment like this anymore.
