This was such a cool experience!!

Like, what do you mean we only had to drive 2 hours to a city with an orange weather warning to see the fabulous @sarah.a.parker.author , hear her chat about her books, get some books signed and allowed to take a photo with her? This very rarely happens for us lower North Island girlies, so it was such a cool experience. It was even better cause I got to road trip with bestie @readingwith_ange and meet besties @caitlinreadss_ and @thatreadingbooth in real life!!

Honestly, im still buzzing, that was just fabulous!!

Thank you to Sarah, her team, and @harpercollinsnz for organizing this talk down in Wellington! Hoping this paves the way for more fabulous authors to head this way!!

Ange and I also managed to stop by @xobookco and snagged a few goodies (I got two @authorscarlettstclair books I have been needing for my collection!). If you're in the Wellington area, I highly recommend you stop by. Look, even @dizz.reads made an appearance 😂 the store is so beautiful and cozy and warm and very decent pricing with an awesome selection!!

I had the most amazing experience last night in Wellington at the @sarah.a.parker.author NZ Tour!!

🌬 It's one thing to read a book, be immersed in a world you're captivated by, fall in love with characters and their story, their lives, their journey..... and another thing completely to meet the person who created it!

🌕 #whenthemoonhatched & #theballadoffallingdragons are easily the most beautiful books I've read this year & I just know that the wait for book 3 is going to be so worth it.

💌 I also had the privilege of meeting some bookish girlies in the flesh! @sez.reads.books , @readingwith_ange , @ijustreallyloveromancebooksok , @thatreadingbooth
It was so amazing to meet you all!

Big thanks to @harpercollinsnz for helping organise make this event possible!! I'm manifesting more 🙌🏻🥰

Talk about the best little afternoon/evening adventure with @ijustreallyloveromancebooksok 🥰🙌

We braved the orange weather warning and made our way down to Wellington, visited the new romance bookstore @xobookco , then headed off to the library for @sarah.a.parker.author book event!

Was so awesome listening to her speak, answer some questions and we even got our books signed and a little photo to remember the moment 🙌

Also yay! We finally met two other book besties @caitlinreadss_ & @thatreadingbooth while we were there! Was so nice meeting you two in person and being able to experience the event together.

I of course couldn't help myself and ended buying 2x books, 2x candles and a tote from the new romance book store. And I finally grabbed my copy of Rumours & Whiskey off Heather too!

It truely was a great day but omg am I tired now after all that driving 😅

What is your telltale SIGN?✨

I posted a story yesterday asking what ya’ll telltale sign was when it comes to knowing a book has you hooked early on… and the responses were too good not to share some of them!

Do any of these signs resonate with you?! There were definitely a few I realised I do as-well lol…

If you don’t already follow these book besties be sure to go show them some aroha (love) 🥰💙
