Tia’s late mother, Valerie, absolutely loved her children. It is with great pleasure that we awarded Tia with our first “Valerie’s Gift” installment.

The amount of transitions Tia had to make didn’t just include the passing of her mom but changes physically and financially. Ahead of September and currently, Tia has served with us in the midst of her grief with grace and humility. It was an honor to plan this.

Pastor @robertmadu and @taylormadu always talk about how we need to be transparent and that our story could help someone..I am someone who keeps a lot of things to myself and mask a lot of situations to make it seem like I’m okay when I’m really not…. The Lord has been pulling me in a specific area all year and I have been ignoring it..Over the past month I have grieved and had so many losses…Today I let go of the pain from miscarriying even though I had no idea. Today I let go of the pain of not having a good relationship with my father until it was almost too late today I let go of all the men I use to try to replace the void in my heart that my father left open.Today I let go of all the decisions I made on my own without talking to God first..Today I am holding my head high know that God sees me and all my sins and shortcomings and still loves me unconditionally in Lamentations 3:22-24 it says “The faithful love of the Lord never ends! His mercies never cease. Great is his faithfulness; his mercies begin afresh each morning. I say to myself, “The Lord is my inheritance; therefore, I will hope in him!”” This verse is saying though we may face difficult times God renews his grace in every situation.Today I start over today is a new day another day God has giving me to live out my full purpose in him. These are my people who I choose to hold me accountable!!!
