IS IT REALLY YOU? A project before leaving. Immensely proud of all the people who came together to create this, genuinely one of the most fun and insane sets I’ve been on. long live indie and long live the films we grew up watching 🫶🏻 To you Thavy, I owe you a lot and I hope I have at least given back some of that through this film, by keeping a part of you alive in the scripts you write. Pls make me talk about league of legends again pog @thavythongkham And to you Denli, thank you for being so fun and open to work with! I still miss you and I will always look back on the stupid moments we had here 😭 @denlichavez CREDITS: dir. @thavythongkham cast. @denlichavez @hweiniang @_selina.sun prod. @ruzetal dop. @nd_ru production design. @momongafilms 1st ad. @isaac.s.chen @max.brad_802 editor. @benjib23 script supervisor. @benjib23 BTS. Last Order directed by Arisa Yura and Gareth Yuen! This was a super fun and chaotic love letter to a family run restaurant and its last day of service. SEASHELL | 贝壳 is a quick little music video we shot at the end of my trip. Directed by @thavythongkham starring the talented @angelx_1119 and shot by yours truly. For a production with minimal planning and just a rough tonal vision, this was a fun challenge to tackle. Everything was shot handheld, with a spontaneous approach that kept us on our toes. Despite the loose planning, I think we captured what we needed! I did notice my focusing skills could use a bit of sharpening, so fingers crossed it’s not too noticeable... Here’s a test grade of what the look could be — keep in mind, it’s still a work in progress and I have no clue when the project will be done xD Follow @threequarterfilms and @mu.wack for more insights and behind-the-scenes content! — Capturing moments on and off the screen 🎥📝 Sharing insights from a filmmaker’s journal — where creativity, productivity, and lifestyle intersect. #ThreeQuarterFilms #MusicVideo #IndieFilm #Cinematography #CreativeFilmmaking #FilmmakerCommunity #MusicVideoProduction #wip

MELBOURNE CREW REUNION It’s been now a year since I was on set directing TO SPARK A WILDFIRE, and I had the pleasure to catch up with a handful of my team down in Melbourne over the past two weeks I was there. Seeing everyone take steps towards their goals and ambitions is, without doubt, such an inspiration, and I am eternally grateful to be involved in their journeys. To everyone down in Melbourne, you will always have my support. I cannot wait to collaborate with all of you again; perhaps our next step is to tackle a feature film project together. We shall see..! — Follow @mu.wack for more updates around fitness, film, food, and occasionally illustration — and whatever else I decide to share. #threequarterfilms #photography #video #health #mentalhealth #wellness #mentalwellness #mentalhealthrecovery #healthylifestyle #love #selflove #loveyourself #selflovejourney #selfcare #selfcarethread #peace #happiness #motivation #relax #journal

TO SPARK A WILDFIRE is now getting colour-graded! With the help of @ellla.mb, we are at last developing the final look of the film! We intend to take a lot of inspiration from Hong Kong Cinema, in particular from filmmakers like Wong Kar Wai. Once the grade is complete, the final touches are made to the sound design and subtitles are added in, we will have a film complete and ready to be submitted to festivals hopefully throughout and beyond Australia! This has been a heck of a journey. A trailer will come out soon (I hope) for those wanting to see even a snippet of this film! — Follow @threequarterfilms and be part of the discussions surrounding the theory, history and the craft of films! #threequarterfilms #production #film #movie #cinema #video #cinematography #actor #actress #filmcrew #filmmakersworld #filmmakerslife #filmmakinglife #indiefilmmaking #moviemaking #filmcommunity #setlife #filming #filmmakinggear #filmmakingtips #davinciresolve #colourgrading #red #asianaustralian #drama #feature #filmfestival #asiancinema #cinematic #redvraptor The Titlecard for the feature film TO SPARK A WILDFIRE.
